No i haven't. I'm not good at math, i suck at it for a matter of fact, She just said she needed to put extra work in to it so here ya go.

Well, numerator is the number on top and the denominator is the number on the bottom. A proper fraction is when the numerator is smaller or equal to the denominator. A improper fraction is when the The numerator is larger than the demomator.
Ok i think you know kinda thats ez part. So, when you see something like 1 and 1/2 that is a proper fraction bcuz it still apply to the same rule. But that can be made improper by taking the 1 (Whole number) and making it 2/2, so you add 1/2 and 2/2 and what do you get? 3/2. Is that proper or improper?
No your right! Because the first number is bigger than the second one!
