Oh sweet Jesus Osprey has too much emotional/phycological trauma to have another son

basically this dumb thing that requires to be fed 5 times a day like that stray cat outside

Osprey was wandering the plains, murmuring to himself, his wings quivering
Kauket was scrambling around through the taller grasses, hiding fairly well because of his dark colors making him look like meer shadows, although the loud crackling noises not helping
Osprey hesitates, turning around looking for the source of the crunching before spreading his wings and taking off into the sky, soaring up before gliding to a tree to sit and rest a little, the poor guy was exhausted
Kauket spots osprey in the tree, and he just scrambles over, still hidden until he scurries up the tree,
He’d pause watching him scurry. “Er-?” Hed quickly head further up, flapping his wings for more momentum. “No,, not dealing with that today Nuh uh.”
He only gets half way up before he just,
falls off,
and he just sat up, in all honesty not at all knowing osprey was up there until he looked up, and he just looked horrified
He stared back down at him, wings spread in a mildly threatening manor as he just watched him, not blinking one bit. “Hmmmmm.”
He stared in sheer horror,
and not gonna lie his abnormal stupidity may show that he's uh, a bit young
Osprey hesitates, “wait,, hello?” Hed slowly move down the tree a little closer
"uhhh,, k-" he suddenly goes into a weird fit of random jerks of his entire body, making weird squeaks/puffs before he covered his mouth, trying to control whatever was going on

He’d pause and quickly hurry down. “oh dear- are you alright?”

he nodded, seeming more annoyed by the random fit of uncontrolable functions

He’d hesitate and gently put a hand on his shoulder. “You sure-?”

Kauket scrambled about in very filled in forest, before he abruptly stops, noticing the stank
He gets kicked right in the stomach, causing him to get knocked non the ground
He staggered up, seeming in more pain than mild stomach bruise, but uh, he was so scared oh my god
He cowered just, staring up at him in fear, and a bit of blood on the ground right where he fell
He reaches over and just sniff before just staring him dead in the face "you smell good"
"it's,,, fine,," he shakes himself off and like, random blood go fling
He is uh
struggling,
until sudden Yelp because he scratched a nono spot
Oh my god this dude has literally 2 holes in his back, like, something was wripped out (narharhar weengs)
they were very poorly scabbed over, bloody and seemingly partially infected

"Wh,,, just why? Is this a thing those uh, round ears do? Is it affection or, u-UHAGA-" his sentancr suddenly gets a bit,, off track before he fixes it "or like,, a uh, form of threat?"
