I think he might like you, and if you wanna know, just pay attention to his body language. Usually when people like other people, they give them small glances when they aren't looking, don't make eye contact a lot, and will most likely try to be as close to you as possible (if you actually talk to them, of course)

I've sort of had a problem like this but in the end I learned the guy only cared about himself and didn't care about anyone or their feeling so for your safety you should tell him he might be good
