LinkI say "actual art" like the things I draw now aren't art which is objectively false

Linkwhat everyone makes here is "actual art" because it is an art website, you are partaking in the act of making something even when you shitpost, which is art.

LinkI think the reason people hold themselves to such high standards, of needing to have a "finished" or "rendered" piece is because of social media, and how a lot of people view what is "art." There is art and story within the mundane, but a lot of people think that in order for something, or their own thing, to be considered art, is to have it be from the best of their abilities. When really, all you need to do is find a joy in the creation of the piece, no matter if it's just a few lines, to a thousand brush strokes.

LinkI probably make no sense but that's really how I see it. It's just more fun to me sometimes to make little fast doodles than a multiple hour colored piece. I still wish to create both, and I don't need to choose one or the other. My whole "process" is just for things to be as simple as they can for me.
