oki so here i think u used a v deep blue to shade but im not sure it’s best to not use black when you shade , i like to use a bright navy , put depending on the colours of the character i might use purple , light blue , etc that was all i was gonna say qwq

but in this i used purple it just depends on the look you’re going for / the colours of the characters a tip i use is to not shade with the same colours as the character sometimes it’s inevitable [ if the character is rainbow for example ] but it makes ur art look a lot better ^_^ also a tip — human skin has blood vessels underneath it so the shading will be redder

np ^_^ i like to make it abt 1/3 from the bottom when choosing the brightness so it doesn’t look too dark aha
