-Rusty sighed but Makino snarled, "Don't try to play smart and I at least don't curse like you around children, crow-food eater!" Makino spat at them- (it's hard looking for insults when ya don't curse lmao)

-Damian stared at Rusty and tugged at his arm, Rusty sighed again and gave him 20$ "Don't waste it all Damian, like last time." Rusty murmured when Damian smiled and stook his tongue out at him, "yeah yeah whatever boomer!" Damian chuckled before floating off quickly, "I'm only 19." he huffed.-

-Rusty looked off in a direction and walked off to a white tom with hazel eyes and told him to follow Damian-

-The white tom nodded and ran off a photo flew off of rusty pocket as he turned back to Makino and Mint and ran up to them again-

-Makino was growling but then stopped as Rusty stared at him, "I'm sorry again, I am Rusty and I hope we can be friends if you want to, may I ask what your name is?" Rusty asked awkwardly, the photo flew off in the wind it was a photo of five, Rusty in the front with a small black and white she-cat and the white tom next to him, and a female siamese colored cat next to the white tom and a ripped off face of a black tom.-

-Makinos ears twitched as Rusty stared at the photo his ears lowered as his eyes rested on it, anger sadness, and guilt flashed in his eyes before he shook his head and opened his eyes clear.-

-Rusty gently takes the photo from her, "Mint. Lovely name." Rusty said before smiling.-

-Rusty folded the photo and put it in his pocket before Damian came dashing in and slammed him into the ground with the white tom following him-

-The white tom sighed, "brother he waisted it all again." The tom murmured as Rusty sighed, "Thank you Nano." He heaved up and shoved off Damian.-

-Rusty looked at Mint, "I'm sorry about all these interruptions, but I'm going fishing, do you want to come? or are you allergic?" He asked.-

-Rusty smiled brightly, "Come on then!" he led her over to the forests, there was a path and he took it, Makino took the buckets with help of Nano and Damian who complained that this was boring but shut up when Rusty said he would buy him a new soccer ball if he fished with them, they came across a lake with a dock with a small hut next to it with a dog whos muzzle turned white with age, "Why hello again Rusty, I see you brought more friends!" the older animal rasped.-

-Makino took the younger kids in a boat and Rusty asked Mint if he wanted a fishing rod, "I can show you! or do you already know?" Rusty asked him.-

-Rusty blinked and then laughed, "I think I'll go a more peaceful way." Rusty joked before throwing his Line into a deep end of the water, Nano had shoved Damian's face into the water a while later after Damian had plashed him, suddenly a tug came and Rusty winded up and out came a Bass, and Rusty smiled as he put it in a small inflated pool full of the lake water and the Bass swam around.-

-Rusty stared at him a bit before continuing and after a while, he had caught plenty of fish he went to go to the restroom and Nano came up to Mint, "Ello there, I'm Nano, are you enjoying your time with me and my family and Rusty?" Nano asked curiously-

-Nano smiled, "Once you get used to my big brother, you'll enjoy his company as much as I do, he's very kind and brave. I remember when he saved me from father." He paused and sighed, "He couldn't save sister though." Nano said looking up at Mint.-

-Nano blinked, "Did you have a sister too?" Nano asked, but before mist could answer Rusty appeared, "Nano, are you pestering Mint?" He asked.-

-Nano got shooed away from Rusty and Nano went off to Damian, "I'm sorry about Nano, he likes to get information from others a lot." Rusty apologized with a slight bow.-

-Rusty smiled another bright smile, "It's getting late and I bet the children are hungry I will be back tomorrow and I wondered if you wanted to eat with us? If not I will be here fishing and if you want can probably revisit me and fish again if your not busy, I leave at 9:00 pm but since the children are here I'm leaving early." He asked as he grabbed the fish and put some in separate buckets, he then closed the lid on one that said 'TAKE HOME' and the other said 'SELL', this was probably how he made a living selling fish in markets.-

-Rusty smiled, "Great!" he said as he picked up both buckets heavy with water and fish as Makino took his objects to fish and they went home, they came to a medium-sized house and Rusty walked in he went to the garage that stank of fish and he poured out the water and waited for the fish to die, and he grabbed a few from the freezer and closed the fridge and walked out the garage closing the door behind him and he then began to deskin the salmon and Mahi-Mahi he began to fry the Mahi-mahi but make white rice and dried seaweed and some vegetables. After he finished the rice he spread the rice on the seaweed and put the cut vegetables after the rice and rolled them up and put salmon on top he then put beans with sprinkled cheese and Mahi-Mahi on the side and he served everyone with the drink they wanted except alcohol :D-

-Rusty smiled, glad that Mint was ok with it.-

-After everyone finished Rusty set off to clean the dishes and table, and then he swept.-

-Rusty blinked in surprise but then smiled in gratitude.-

-After the cleaning was ended Damian's mother came to pick him up, Rusty got paid and waved goodbye, he turned to Mint, "Thank you for helping me!" Rusty mewed.-

-It was night, "It's dark, would you like me to take you home? It gets dangerous sometimes and you might need help! But you can always stay if you want!" Rusty offered.-

-Rusty nodded, "Do you mind if I accompany you?" Rusty asked-.

-Rusty smiled, "Well lead the way!" He mewed happily as he shut the door from behind them as they exited.-

-Rusty followed Mint.-

-Rustys eye glowed in the gloom just a purple bright light he looked around and spotted a birds nest near the ground with a mother curled up safely with her eggs and he smiled.-

-Rusty blinked and looked around the apartment but walked close by Mint, he hadn't been in this apartment place so it was new and his ears twitched at the new sounds and smells.-

-Rusty would Follow Mint still, "If you want I can go home now that you arrived safely." Rusty mewed.-

-Rustys tail twitched, "I guess I want to stay a bit before going home." Rusty said.-

"As the guardian of this town, it is. How am I supposed to know if you've committed any crimes?" "Hey Lukian, it's okay, the last crime I can recall was last week, I've been monitoring it closely, you know the..." She trailed off, whispering, but the words 'murder of' were slightly audible

(Also I'm gonna mention some stuff bout the town if you don't mind, -Town's name: Town of Parva -It's at the bottom of a mountain which is covered in forest -At the very edge of the forest, there's a strange house covered in overgrown plants -The locals say the house had changed in appearance very suddenly, no construction crew had reported going over -There's strange noises from that house a lot, sometimes even strange glowing -There's no reported magic users and everyone's mostly human, maybe the odd elemental caster or random species but not many -The mayor is very shady and rarely ever seen -Two teenagers that are described to be very short with brown hair and pale skin are the only known residents idk where you'll go with this but here's some stuff that could help in the future)

I hope you've found this place nice." Lukian eyed him suspiciously, as he didn't believe he was telling the full truth.

"Well, if you need any assistance, please feel free to ask." He looked down at them with a kind of snobbish look, then walked away, his tail swaying behind him. Hazel sighed at him

"Mission and blowing cover? My, that doesn't sound too good." Hazel looked at them innocently, "I mean depending on this mission's contents I may be able to help you." In all fairness, the teenage girl did not look like she could be much help

(Also fore-shadowing lmao- Every single person in this universe would have heard of 'The Human Council', the most everybody knew about it is that it was a group of powerful elemental users who possessed crystals which contained the magic from the actual gods of these elements. The council consisted of fourteen members, and the leaders were told to be two extremely powerful, almost god-level magic users that were selected by one of the gods themselves)

"Well I'm afraid not, you can either tell me about it or I'll have to force it out of you."

She dug around in her pocket, before pulling out first a phone, "No, not you," Then a hairbrush, "I mean not a bad weapon but no," Then a bunch of crystals, "Don't ask, not you..." Then a whole *ss baby dragon that was the size of a small lizard. It was silver with light blue wings/claws/tails and head, and had icicles for horns. It was sleeping and looked pretty comfy, wrapped up in a tiny blanket, "Hey Miyo, I thought you were in the other pocket."

Lukian would immediately teleport in front of them, his ears taking the form of claws and appearing beside him, "Not so fast, I heard everything."

A barrier that seemed to be fully made out of magic would appear around them in a dome, glowing black, "Hazel is more forgiving than me, so I advise you tell me about your 'mission' before I have to kill you."

"I'm a demon, I couldn't care less." "Lukian!" Hazel walked through the barrier with seemingly no effort at all, "Yes, we do care. Please tell us, you'd be surprised by how much we could help. Don't judge a book by its cover,"

"You can't say something like that and expect me not to ask, you don't have to tell me everything but at least tell me how I can help,"

"Nope, I'm afraid I'd be failing my job if I let millions die."

"Well I'm only keeping you here until you agree to let me help, so the quicker you explain the situation, the quicker you can get back to it."

"Lukian?" He nodded, as his eyes would glow a brighter pink when he tried to read Smog's mind

This time, he started looking into his memories "Well, show me your kingdom and I'll kill it for you, I deal with that stuff all the time."

"Nope," he responded simply, trying harder to see what they were saying Hazel looked at Mint, "So who not let me?"

"...what's the ritual for?" Lukian asked them, exiting his mind

Lukian smirked, "Oh, did I make you mad? Tell me about your mission or I'll do the same again." He did not look scared of the weapon, Hazel took a few steps backwards

Lukian sighed and tried to enter Mint's mind this time,

He mostly tried to skip through the childhood stuff and see what was going on in their kingdom

Mint's foot would go straight through him, as if he wasn't even there. His body would start 'glitching' specifically where he would hit, with 'pixels' flying around before reforming seconds later Realising Mint didn't know much, he went on to Smog again,

"...what, were you expecting me to just let you hit me?"

"Fair enough," Lukian's eyes stopped glowing, "Trust me when I say we can be more helpful than we look."

He shrugged and teleported himself and Hazel away. However, one of his ears would be floating behind them to listen in

Lukian kind of felt bad and teleported the ear back to him, "Let's just wait," he muttered

"Do you think they know who I am?" Hazel asked "Highly unlikely,"

The two stood in silence before Lukian teleported them back, "Have you two decided? I will respect your decision either way so long as it doesn't harm anybody."

Hazel stood still for a second, "I will make sure you won't be."

"Don't worry about it," she smiled, "Please tell us."

"Will this plan put any of my people in danger?" Lukian asked

He looked hesitant, "...sure," Hazel handed them a matchstick, "Light this when you're in need of help and I will come immediately."

They would both teleport away, (oop what happens now- time-skip or something?)

Ice huffed, "You were in his way.. he didn't even know you were there! You can't blame him anyways!" G tried calming him down, "I-Ice i-its fine.. I d-don't really mind anyways.."

"Yes." G just gave up, not saying anything
