-corey was walking around for whatever reason, dressed in a white suit with a top hat for whatever reason, she had a few errands to run and some money to pick up from people, her tail swayed behind her as she hummed softly, holding her cane at her side, she was actually pretty happy today, she felt nice today which wasnât normally the case, but today was going to be a good day, she was sure of it-

Standing beside an old club was the two lovebirds. Kai was happily rambling on to Shawn about nothing, his cheeks were a bright pink as he spoke, his bright eyes up on shawns. The bull, unlike him, had a rather annoyed expression across his face as he averted his eyes from him, rolling his eyes. He grumbled gently before gently moving his thumb over kai's bottom lip, making the lion flush red.
-corey had eventually seen them, her brows raising as she saw them, she had figured kai was in trouble so she started over, gripping her cane in case she had to use it, her brows furrowed and she started closer until she saw the whole lip thing, her eyes got a bit wide, she set her hand on her hip as she spoke up- âhey kai- and uh- Shawnâ
Shawn arched a brow as his eyes flickered over to the pastel cat and his eyes widened before pulling his hand from kai. His cheeks dusted an embarrassed red and he cleared his throat. The lion couldn't do much more than look away from her with embarrassment, his face was a deep red as he mumbled. "Hi."
-she sighed a bit as she kept her eyes on them, a brow raising- âIâm not interrupting anything am I?â -she tried not to snicker but it definitely intrested her, she wanted to know what was going on but knew they wouldnât give her a real answer so she sighed a bit, keeping her hand on her hip-
Kai shook his head quickly and bit down on his lip gently, glancing back up at he murdered. "Not- at all." The lion let out a heavy, nervous purr as he looked away from her.
Shawn nodded and gave her a soft smile, keeping himself much more 'secretive' then kai was able to. He chuckled softly. "just talking."
-she nodded slowly and leaned back against the wall, she sighed softly- âah I see, well! Iâd hate to bother you guys if youâre having a conversationâ -her brows raised as she took in kais body language, she was almost sure of it something fishy was going on here-
Shawn grinned gently as he hugged the lion from behind with a brow arched, his hands slid down to his hips as he chuckled. "Oh its no problem hon. Were just having a little, talk. Its no big deal." Despite Shawn's words, the lion was tensing as his hips seemed to move back against the bull, his face only flushing more.
-she blinked a bit, it was all starting to become clear to her now, her brows raised and she fell silent for quite a bit before she shook her head and laughed gently,not really sure how she should react- âa-ah well- seems you two are a bit busy anywaysâ -she rubbed behind her neck-
-she thought for a moment, but part of her actually wanted to figure out what was going on between them, and how they got well- close or whatever, she thought they were enimies, but outwardly she smiled softly and nodded- âoh sure that sounds good actuallyâ -she started to follow along with them, sighing- âhow have you guys been?â
Kai finally pulled away from him with a shaky sigh and moved her her other side before giving her a childish, playful smile. "Wonderful-"
Shawn on the other hand, just gave her a shrug and it seemed to bring a frown to Kai's face. The two had been hanging out so much lately and he just gave that a, shrug ? He loved him, he really did as much as he did or didn't show it, he adored Shawn, everything about him was, perfect. All that praise just earned a light, shrug ? His brows knit and he huffed softly, glancing off, the more he thought about the gesture the more annoyed he grew and just like that the lion went from all lovey dovey to a ****ing pissy as pussy.

-she nodded and walked along with them, still trying to peice the puzzle together in her head, but corey was clueless after all, maybe they made up? Kai averted his eyes with a roll of his eyes as his fur began to gently prickle. He smiled gently, his voice rather passive. "why don't you explain us to her Shawn? After all, I am curious to what you see us being." His jaw tightened as he glanced back at him, his eyes narrowed.
Shawn arched a brow and scoffed gently at the lion and he grumbled wit a shrug, he moved to look back in front of his as he sighed. "We were but now were more of- frenemies I suppose. Were just, neutral currently."
-she blinked a bit, starting to feel the tension in the air, her ears lowered a bit and she looked at the both of them, just nodding along with them speaking, she felt kind of bad for Kai, she could sense the hurt in his voice and she didnât like that, even if the guy was a bit of a jerk, she sighed a bit and played with the fur on her paws, just nodding when Shawn was done speaking- âah I seeâ
Kai's fists balled as he glanced down, his ears folded back. He gave his, everything to Shawn and he was really treating him like this. He held back any intense emotion and simply said nothing. Shawn sighed softly and nodded with a soft smile, he knew how kai felt but, he could care less. At least that's what he wanted to feel but deep inside he did feel a tinge of guilt. He glanced down at Corey. "Single ?"
-her head raised and she looked at him, she had a puzzled expression on her face, why on earth would he ask that? Especially when it was clear kai wasnât feeling so good, she really wasnât sure what to say, in all honesty it was complicated, sheâs been more âactiveâ to say the least, but hasnât really settled down, even though thatâs what she truly wanted, she shook her head, breaking her thoughts as she spoke again- âI uh- guess so-â
-she was going to answer him until she saw kai, she really couldnât keep it in anymore, she felt horrible, she turned to kai, not even answering Shawn as she stepped closer, shyly she reached up to hold his paw, she frowned as she looked up at him, her ears lowered- âhey- you alright-?â -she paused and shook her head- âthatâs a dumb question sorry- whatâs wrong?-â
He kept his eyes away from her and let out a shaky sigh, his finger tips trembled and he flinched at her touch,n growing very reluctant to touch as he knew, it would probably tip him over the edge and he'd break down into tears. His ears pinned back and he Gabe nothing more than a shrug, tears pricked in the corners of his eyes, he thought, Shawn loved him.
The bull rolled hos eyes with a gentle scoff. Kai should know when to back off, he knew he wasn't looking for a relationship with him, let alonw a man at all."
-she frowned again, knowing she wasnât going to get much of anywhere with Shawn around, she pulled her paw away and sighed- âhey well- maybe you could come over to my place somtime?- Iâve got like, a whole tub of ice creamâ -she tried to make light of the situation, she hated seeing people cry, she sighed softly as she glanced off- âwe could watch a movie or something, I could even make dinner if youâd like-â
He frowned gently and nodded slowly, his paw briefly moving up at wipe his eyes with his palm. The lion sniffled gently and glanced away, he couldnt stand the toilet thought of kai getting with someone else, he, belonged to him, they should be together and he deserved Shawn more than anyone else. The lion let out a short, light huff as he averted his eyes, muttering. "alright..."
Shawn furrowed his brows and looked away. What nerve, to just, take away someone he was interested in.
-she nodded and sighed softly, patting his arm, she still frowned but after a moment she took a few steps back, she looked over at Shawn, trying to scan him, she really wasnât sure what was happening but given how Shawn was acting she was starting to peice it together, perhaps it was some manipulation stunt, sheâs had her fair share of friends- even lovers who used her in a similar way, sure she thought kai was an idiot at times, but he didnât deserve to feel that way, she looked back to kai and forced a small smile, although she was slowly growing angry- âyoure gonna be alright kai, youâre a strong dude-â
Kai sighed softly as he nodded, rubbing his arm as if it would comfort himself. He didn't dare look up to see the two, as he knew if he glanced at Shawn he would break and Corey, he would do nothing more than just embarrass himself. Why couldn't Shawn just finally accept him? He acted like they were a thing alone but, whenever anyone else came along, he was treated like trash, treated worse then the garbage alone the roads by Shawn. What did he ever do to Shawn to just treat him like that? That, is what he wanted to know most of all. He let out a shaky sigh. "Y-yeah."
Shawn huffed and averted his eyes, unwilling to watch the two, he couldnt care less.
-after a moment her eyes narrowed a bit, sick and tired of being the only one willing to help her friend, she looked up at kai and spoke up, she was trying to keep her demeanor calm, but she made a note in her head to pay Shawn a visit at a later date, if he liked putting people in pain, she wondered just exactly how heâd like it if it were returned, she patted kais arm and sighed- âletâs go now- I mean only if youâd like- you donât deserve to feel like thisâ -she sighed once again, hoping he would agree, she didnât want him to feel any more pain then he already was-

Kai took note of his tone but deeply hesitated, hos ears pinned back. He wanted to go, very much but at the same time, Shawn he seemed so- willing and interested to go, and he knew if he DoD have Shawn come along he would end up breaking sooner or later, especially with a woman there.
-corey blinked, turning back to look at him, she returned his grin, but something about this one seemed slightly cold, maybe even sinister, the woman was nice, but only to people who deserved it, she always had a soft spot for broken and hurting people, but for the people who hurt- she had no tolerance, she smiled at him- ânow I donât remember inviting you, it is my house after allâ -she then turned back to kai, she tried her best to be nice to him, she felt really bad for him and wanted to get some answers- âyou still up for it-? The lion gave her a soft smile and nodded slowly, as much as he hated it, he kinda liked the idea of finally being able to talk to someone besides Shawn, as he tended to just dump all his trash on kai then not bother to listen to a word he had to say about his life. His tail gently flicked and patterns against the sidewalk as he looked back up to her, wiping his eyes. He smiled gently. "I would love that-" unlike kai's lightening up mood, shawn's brows furrowed in anger at her words, what nerve, to talk to him in such a manner. He hated to audacity of this woman and his fists balled as he sneered softly. "Why can't I come ?" His eyes narrowed as he spoke, he liked to keep an eye on kai when he could, not wanting him to fall for anyone else but him.
-she glanced back at Shawn, her eye twitched, she didnât want to be honest, not with Kai there, if he did really care about the guy she didnât want to outright be rude to him with him there, she tried to upkeep her smile but god was it getting hard- âwell, because I said so- you donât need much more then that, but if you really need some company Iâve got a nice casinoâ -she purred the last part, satisfied knowing if he showed up there without her heâd most likely get beat up, her tail swayed slowly as she turned to kai with a soft smile- âshould we be on our way then?â -she offered her paw to him-
Hos jaw tightened as he glared down at her, he wouldn't mind paying another visit to her casino but what the ****. He just wanted to spend a lil time with the two, well, more of Corey buw he wasn't going to say that. The more he thought about it, the more he enjoyed the idea of threatening that little sweetheart casino, he was sire he had enough men as, how many could a little cat girl like herself gain? Probably not much, as she could easily get stepped on if attempted, from his view of things.
Kai sighed gently and nodded, returning the gentle smile. He,liked how kind she was being to him, it had been a while since anyone was and it felt nice to be treated like that, as he was used to just getting ranted to, completely ignored then just used for sex, but this, felt different. It made him happy. He nodded and his paw gently took hers.
-she smiled, turning and starting off with him, she was quite happy he accepted, worried that he wasnât going too, it made her happy to know he hadnât completely succumb to the man, he would have said no if he had, she gently held his paw as she started down the street, her anger starting to subside as she wanted to focus more on helping the lion out, she sighed a bit, speaking softly once they were a bit away from Shawn- âyou doing alright? I mean really-â
H shrugged and sighed gently, giving the cat girl a gentle smile as he nodded, gently holding her paw with his. "Better.. Thank you-" his green eye seemed to sparkle a bit wit happiness, it felt odd to be treated like a decent person, let alone to be asked if he was okay after that. His tail gently swayed as he tried to push Shawn out of his mind for the time being.
-they walked for a little bit until she reached her apartment, she unlocked the door and stepped in, right away her big ole dog went right up to kai, but this time itâs tail was wagging, it went to him and licked at him paw, coreys eyes brightened, that dog hated everyone, but it made her happy to see that, she chuckled softly, shutting the door behind them as she laughed- âawww he missed you- are you hungry at all?â
-she nodded slowly and chuckled- âalright well, any type of movies you like to watch?â -she hummed a bit, slipping her coat off and hanging it up, then slipping her boots off, but keeping her black stockings on, she sighed softly as she started over to the kitchen, deciding to fix them both a drink, he deserved it anyway, she tugged out some nice vodka and some juice, fixing them both a drink-
-she thought for a bit and sighed- âI love horror movies but I donât really think thatâs what we should watchâ -she wasnât sure about a romance movie either, not wanting to bring up stuff from earlier today, she tapped her chin and sighed- âIâm not sure, maybe a comedy or action?â -she handed him the drink and sat down on the couch with a sigh-
-she sipped her drink and set hers down, turning some random movie on as she sighed, her tail rested beside her and she stared at the screen, sighing a bit, she wanted to ask about Shawn but she decided to wait a bit, letting him come down from being upset before she brought stuff up, she wanted him to be calm when he explained-
He let out a soft purr as he scoot closer, putting an arm around her as he kept his eyes on the screen with a happy sigh. He could feel himself calming around her and for now, he decided to just focus on now. His tail slid around her and intertwined with hers gently.
-her face went a soft pink, she leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled happily, watching the screen, feeling content at the moment, she saw his rise in mood and that made her happy, she sighed softly as she started to relax herself, her paws now gently folded on her lap as she happily watched the movie-
-she smiled softly, she suddenly remembered she wanted to ask about Shawn, but she was worried sheâd ruin how amazing everything felt right now, it felt good to be around him again, she did in truth miss him, but she knew he was often off doing different stuff with different people so she didnât think much of it, she sighed softly as she spoke- âso uh, you and Shawn are friends now?-â
He praised for a moment and his eyes flickered down to his lap bit, the smile didn't faulter one bit, as if he was happy to speak about the bastard(?). He shrugged and glanced down as his cheeks dusted pink. He let out a light, dreamy chuckle. "oh he's amazing- he wanted to make up for all he did to me-" the man was truly love sick with the bull.
-she sighed softly and nodded- âah I see, so more than friends then?â -she fell silent for a bit, sipping her drink again, his dreamy tone almost broke her heart, the dude was lovesick, which was fine minus the fact he was in love with someone who was clearly manipulating him, she sighed softly and leaned back in her seat- âhe was a bit rude to you- donât you think?-â

Nevertheless, he was a bad guy, but why should that matter to her, she shook her head, breaking from her thoughts as she started back to the couch-

He sighed gently and nodded with a light grumble, he did receive those odd mood swings from his grandfather, who had a personality disorder that I forgot what it was called think it was bpd but idk, though he didn't know so he seeked no treatment, as he just thought it was his personality.
