Kai had captured him and his crew and destroyed his ship after a major issue between the two- Anywho,, she had put most of his men in the underquarters of the ship, but she kept him up top, tied to the mast of the ship,, After an exchange of words,, and an idea of compromise,, she had released him and brought him down to her quarters to discuss. Which was going smoothly at first, though,, as soon as she turned to go retrieve drinks for the two- Wolf jumped to his feet and had grabbed a sword that he had been eyeing in the room-

And she’s like “you can’t possibly kill me in a way that matters. What’s one man with a sword going to do against the rest of my crew? They’ve got muskets idiot.” And he’s like mentally- ‘wow didn’t think this out completely.’ But he’s like, “yeah well, holding the captain of a crew as hostage should be enough for them to cooperate with my wishes, yes?” And she’s like, “nah, they listen to me. If you’re clinging to me and I tell them to fire, they’ll let a load of iron go through us both.”
