it needs to be said, i hate the whole irl and d/a labels because how do you know you're delusional? you can't be self aware and delusional at the same time. it defeats the purpose of being delusional. you can't give it a label while being delusional. being delusional means you BELIEVE in something that isn't in reality. if you know you are delusional, it means you don't really believe in it. i should know this because during my episodes, i can get delusional. when i am delusional, i'll believe it 100%. when i realise i am wrong, i am not delusional anymore, and that happens when my episode is finished. but keep in mind, that i usually don't remember much during episodes. i can only depend on people around me to tell me what happened, that's when i will realise i was delusional. this usually only happens in my psychotic episodes (which is triggered mostly by my mania rather then my depressive state, it doesn't happen very often). this is why i disagree with those labels, i could be wrong about the irl lab
