Depends on what I'm trying to do. If i'm doing more of a clean look, I use the tool under the paint bucket. Other wise, I use the pencil. (I suggest opacity level 0.1568627450980392 and spam clicking)

Another tip is to eye drop colors in between the two colors that you are blending. This helps with transition.
