Female description: Female Deltern commonly have a light grey or white background color fur with darker solid color spots on their back, knees and face. They have a partial mask that is always the darkest color on their body. Females are shorter than males reaching a maximum height of 5.5 feet. They have two toes on each hooved foot.

Male description: Males are most commonly a bright/ pastel background color with light stripes along their back, ears, knees and face. They have a full mask and large horns that can come in many shapes and sizes. They have a light underbelly and a dark cap on top of their heads. They have a long tail used for balence while hinting along the cliff sides. They have 3 toes on each hooved foot. They reach a maximum height of 7 feet.

Habitat: they live in dry desert wastelands and savanas. They live on the ledges of canyons and bash holes in the sides of the canyon walls.

Diet: cactus, rabbits, lizards, snakes, small mammals and insects.
