Me trying to imagine Fox at a ball is really funny I-)) Fox glared at everything around him. He was wearing a navy blue suit.

Fox turned down whoever asked him, and he moved to a different seat.

He huffed. "I was forced too,"

"A multitude of people,"

"I need to find a wife, apparently."

"Mm, yes. God, I think are family may have conspired with each other,"

"Lord Foxenharth. Call me Fox."

"Yeah. Oh, of course." He mumbled.

"I've been watching my brother flirt, rather successfully, with every girl he sets eyes on."

"Lord Philip. He gets a normal name,"

"Hey, he's doing it to make me laugh. He's a good person."

"Yeah. I'll be right back." He got up and walked into the dance floor.

Fox came back with Philip following him.

"Oh.. her," Philip said.

Fox was laughing and Philip looked nervous.

"I wanted to see if you were right. Philip, did you introduce yourself with you lord title again?"

"About you knowing him." "Oui je l'ai fait." Philip said.

"I'm bored. And he's my brother. English please, Lord Philip."

"Fine! Yes! I introduce my self as lord Philip Carter. Happy?" He sounded mad, but he was smiling.

"Alright. Don't let your girlfriend see you flirting with others," Fox said as Philip walked off.

"Yeah."

"I have no idea. I think father had something to do with it, though," he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah. Oh. He's coming this way, uh-"

Fox offered his hand to Willow. "Act like you like me," he whispered frantically. His dad got closer.

Fox lead her in a simple dance before his dad even saw them. He was good at this, as if he was bred for it. Which, well, he was.

"I was bred for it. So are you." "Foxenhearth!" His dad called.

Fox nodded discreetly, walking towards his father. "Father." He nodded. "Who is this?" He gestures to Willow, his smile painfully fake.

"Are your parents here?" He asked.

"I do, actually, mind you asking." He adjusted his suit. It kind of looked like it was a daily outfit for him, with the way it seemed so natural on him. He seemed comfortable in one.

Someone was standing outside, singing beautifully to himself. "Are you, are you coming to the tree.."

"...Where they strung up a man they say murdered three.." The person continued to sing, out of Willow's sight.

"...Strange things did happen here.." He was now in Willow's view.

He ran a hand through his light pink hair. "...No stranger would it be.."

"...If we met at midnight in the hanging tree..."

He sighed and leaned his head back, not finishing the song.

He jumped. "Ah! Hey, uh,"

"O-oh.. You heard that.. Uhm.." He blushed.

"Oh.. Well, I-I should be g-going back in.. uh.. there.. The- The ball-ballroom."

"T-Tobias Gr-Grayson Reid. You?"

"Y-yeah.." He walks in. "F-fox!" He calls before the door closes.

"Well, I have to go back in before Father finds me or Toby has a panic attack, so.."

He looked sad at that. "O-oh.." He turns and goes inside.

Toby came out around five seconds later and looked panicked. "Are you, are you coming to the tree.." He was mumbling.

He flashed a quick smile "Hey," he breathed.

"I think I'm gonna hang out here, uh.. Too many people, I-"

Fox's father walked out of the doors.

Toby had a fake smile for politeness, but his eyes were wide and his body ridged with fear. "Tobias! I saw you leave, is everything okay?"

"Y-y-yes s-sir. I ju-just needed some ai-air.." He looked more scared every time he stuttered.

"Ah, yes, understandable. Ms.Blackburn." Hus French accent was almost undetectable.

"N-no sir, I have not se-seen him." Toby said. Fox's dad nodded and walked off.

He didn't look like he was. "Wh-what did I-I just do-do..?" He asked no one.

"I just li-lied to Lor-Lord Jacob Car_Carter.."

"He's a dangerous ma-man, Willow.."

"Ha-have you rea-read the hunger gam-games?"

"Mr.Carter is pr-president Snow. He-he knows when you ar-are kying, and he do-does what he wants whether it's ri-right or n-not"

The ball must have ended, because people were straeming out of the ballroom.

Toby nodded, waiting anxiously for Fox.

Fox was the last to leave. He closed the doors.

Fox walked briskly through the crowd, Toby following. They caught up with Willow.

Fox placed a hand on he shoulder.

"Apoligies," he said in an imitation of his father.

"Anyway," he said, back in his normal voice. "Who left you?"

"I think everyone in my friend group has had that happen." Fox said chuckling a little. Toby nodded in agreement.

"Then again, I lead a three person friend group. All consisting of idiots. Well, Tobias is literally a genius, so I guess two of us are."

"Would you like to join?"

Fox nodded. "Wh-what Street do you li-live on?"

"We'll walk with you. Toby, you know how to get there?" Toby nodded. "Alright, let's go.

Fox pulled off his gloves. "I hate those things," he mumbled.

Toby said, "I-I kind of li-like them.."

"I al-also like sui-suits, so.."

"I do too. TOby is.. weird." Fox said.

"Then again, I'm not one to insult someone who has a photographic memory,"

"We-well.. Ei-eidetic.."

"He remembers everything he has ever read. word for for word. His IQ is 187."

Toby blushed. He followed the street signs until he reached the right one.

Toby nodded. "Alright. See you around?"

Fox and Toby turned to leave, teasing each other.

Willow heard laughing outside her door before someone knocked on it. Sorry about the late response- uh-))

Fox and Toby's voices were heard, but there was a third unrecognizable one that said, "shut up, Fox!" Followed by laughing.

"What, you excited to see your girl-" the third person said. "SHUT UPP!" Fox yelled. Toby laughed.

Fox flicked the third ones head before he saw the open door.

"Hey," Fox said as the third one pushed him playfully.

"Alright," Fox and the tbird one walked in, while Toby hung back.

"Huh? OH! Sorry.. By the way, the one who looks like Fox's brother is Josh." He seemed hesitant to go inside.

Uh,,, what he just said but woth A stutter..))

He walked in, looking around.

Fox nodded. "It's nice," Josh smiled. "It is. I like it. Joshua Addams, by the way." He stuck out his hand.

Josh nodded. Toby still seemed nervous.

"Well, Toby and Fox want to go to the mall," Josh said. Fox punched his arm. "JOSH and Toby want to go to the mall because they're nerds," Fox corrected.

"Go to the mall, but I didn't say that before now." Josh laughed.

"Alright." Josh smiled. "Hey Toby, you alright?" Fox looked at him, concerned. Toby nodded a little to quickly.

"Let's go," Fox said.

Fox and Josh walked towards the door.

"Yeah? Oh, sorry.."

They all walked out.

Tobt was incredibly short in between Fox and Josh who are both unnaturally tall.

Josh seemed to notice it as well, as he use Toby's head as an arm rest.

Toby ran forward, next to Willow and out of Josh's reach. He was still pretty short.

He was trying to act annoyed, but a smile crossed his features.

"Hang out at Josh's or my house."

"Yeah, i-it is.."

"Seriously," Josh said, walking up to Toby and Willow.

"Window shop because we are all broke." Josh said. "Speak for yourself!" Fox joked.

"Nah, I refuse to use Father's money any way." Fox said.

"It's f-fun," Toby nodded.

"You could join any time," Fox said.

"We wouldn't have invited you if we minded," Josh said.

"Cool," Fox nodded.

TOby jumped on Fox's shoulders. "I'm ta-tall now."

Fox just shook his head and Josh laughed.

"We haven't even gone in yet," Josh pointed out.

Toby got off of Fox's shoulders due to complications in entering.

Everyone entered, and Toby seemed happier.

Josh walked to an Anime store, like, instantly.

"Yeah, he's not the only one," He said. Toby was on Josh's heels.

"Well, we'll see them at some point,"

"Oh, I have no idea."

"Sounds good,"

He followed.

"There," he points to a book store.

He walked in as well.

Fox looked less at home, glancing around.

"Never been here before, or really any book store." He shrugged.

"I think I own every book I will need,"

"No,"

"Huh,"

"I just- You remind me of Toby in that way."

As id on que, Toby walked into the bookstore, followed by Josh.
