Puzzle: *perking his ears up, sensing someone else around them* Vague: *barely raises head from sniffing something on the ground, cocking his head to the side tiredly* Hear something? Puzzle: N... No... I just thought I sensed something. Vague: *rolls eye* Maybe something you inherited from Secret. Puzzle: Maybe... *still looking around*

Puzzle: *calling out in a random direction* Hello? Vague: *puts head to the ground in annoyance* It's a wonder you haven't gotten us killed yet, Puzzle! Puzzle: Well sorry! I'm just seeing if my suspicions are true!

Vague: *instantly raises his head from the ground* Poppy? Puzzle: *shaking his head mockingly* Who's talking now... *turns away from Vague* Yeah, Poppy, it's us! Vague: *seeing Poppy much further away from them* Over here! Can't be bothered to materialise today!

Puzzle: *lowers his head in greeting* You too. Vague: *nods sharply* How are you? Puzzle: Anything interesting happen recently?

(Never finished that r.p... Hmmmm) Puzzle: *flicking his tail calmly* Well, nothing much has happened with us... Vague: Secret showed us more runes... Mystery left us in charge of The Midnight Bridge- Puzzle: Which was pretty fun~ Vague: Apart from that... Pretty uneventful.

Vague: He's... Alright as far as we know. Puzzle: He kept saying he sad to meet up with other demons. Something's happening back in the capitol (I've been reading too much Hunger Games). Vague: He wont tell us though, neither will Secret or Misfortune... Puzzle: Surprising they wont. Vague: It might not be a big deal though. Some new leader might be getting elected. Puzzle: *sighs* Hopefully.

Vague: *cocking his head, narrowing his eye in concern* Sure you alright? Tired? Puzzle: We could visit somewhere?

Puzzle: *looks at the ground* I'm... Not sure. *after some silence* Puzzle: *perks his head up* The Capi-- Vague: *emotionless* No. Puzzle: *pleading* But-- Vague: *lip smacks* No. *turning to Puzzle sadly* Who knows what it's like there. Puzzle: Where else CAN we go?

Puzzle: *sighs, turning his head to Poppy slowly while keeping a cheery expression* Well... What do you suggest? Vague: ...

Puzzle: *blinks, interested in this new place, almost forgetting about the capital* It... Could be worth a look. *glancing to Vague* Vague: *nodding to the two* Good idea. *stands, shaking his shoulders before gesturing around the field with his tail* Mind showing us the way?

Vague: *trotting quickly after her, but staying far back enough to talk to Puzzle* Why so eager to visit the Capital? Puzzle: Why aren't you!? Vague: *narrows his eye, taken aback by his younger brothers outburst* ... Puzzle: It's. The. Capital. Vague. Of demons! Think about how much we could learn! The ancestors we could have there, what we could know if we just... *lowers his voice, seeing Poppy not far ahead of them* We don't have to take Poppy with us... Vague: You're saying we go now? *beginning to speed up to catch up with Poppy* Puzzle: *speaking quickly, seeing his brothers actions* No no no, I'm just saying there are lots of reasons we SHOULD go! Vague: I can probably think of even more reasons, Puzzle. *pausing to face his brother* But now's not the time. *waits several beats before running up to be with Poppy, soon to be followed by a slightly agitated Puzzle*

Vague: *reaching out a lean paw to gently stroke the rock surface* Almost smooth... Puzzle: *looking up at the cave mouth, a quiet moaning sound created by the wind echoing out at them* When did you find this place, Poppy?

Puzzle: *blinking himself awake, half asleep from the calm wind emitting from the cave* Well... Lets go in shall we? Vague: *smiles faintly, taking a small step closer before snapping his head around at Poppy* Was there a reason you... Didn't go in?

Vague: *nods slowly* Ooh. *turns back to the cave, hesitating before carefully leaping into the darkness, his footsteps echoing quietly off the dripping walls* Puzzle: *quick to follow him, flinching as his paws met the cold, hard ground* Vague: *gazing around at the random dents and crevices in the walls, ledges jutting high above them and small particles of dust floating about them* Woah... This is... *pawing the ground* New.

Vague: If you ask me, *he glanced back at Poppy for effect* this's more of a tunnel than a cave. Puzzle: If it is I wonder what it's like on the other side. *neatly jumps to the side to avoid some falling pebbles* Hopefully we didn't disturb too many creatures in here... Vague: *ignoring his brother* Even if it isn't a tunnel, or part of some system, I'm still curious to see how far it goes. *takes a single step forward, jumping back slightly as a small droplet of water hit his face, running down his abnormally smooth cheek*

Puzzle: *upon seeing several silhouettes clinging to the stone ceiling* Yeah lets go ahead, huh? Vague: *gazing around in interest, checking every crack in the walls he could reach, as well as climbing up onto several ledges, trying to get a better view of the darkened place*

Vague: *widens his eye, hardly noticing Poppy* Y-yeah well... I've just... *lowers his head slightly, chuckling to himself* Never seen a cave before, not like this anyway! Puzzle: *leaning over to Poppy* I got to go to a cave like this a while ago to harvest some souls for Secret but Vague's never been to a place like this. *chuckles*

Vague: *jumping down from a ledge, skidding on the smooth rock before hopping the rest of the way down* Puzzle: *after laughing at his brother the two continued walking alone, enjoying the quietness of the cave* So, Poppy, what were you doing in the field outside?

Vague: *not entirely paying attention* Well, as you know, Mystery's out in the capital today, he has been for the past few days and nights, and Secret's busy doing... *narrows his eye* Whatever she does. Puzzle: *giggles* She lives up to her name. Misfortune's in charge of The Midnight Bridge so we wont be seeing them today.

Vague: *pauses, widening his now flickering-turquoise eye* What... Guys look! *running ahead* Puzzle: *raises his head to see an almost flat wall ahead of them, various ledges and platforms looking like some sort of puzzle, as well as a thin stream of water trickling down from a large hole dead centre in the wall* Well then.

Vague: *sitting on the ledge closest to the stream of water, to the left, looking over it with interest and watching as it created a shallow puddle on the floor* Strange... There must be a hole in the ground for it not to flood. Puzzle: Is it salt water? Vague: *lets a small drop touch his tongue* Nope, no salt.

Vague: *glares at Poppy, sniffing distastefully at her smirk* No it did not. It tasted like the stuff most humans would drink. Puzzle: *clicks his tongue, thinking* How does that work? Vague: Who knows. *scrambling up the wall to a slightly high ledge so that he was almost halfway up* And why would there be so many ledges?

Vague: *nods, his eye now back to normal* Maybe. *continues to hop from ledge to ledge* Puzzle: *smiles brightly* Is the serious-emo-tsudere Vague actually having fun~? Vague: Shut it! I'm just trying to see if I can find anything... *looking at the hole in the wall at a better angle* The hole's barely big enough for one of us to fit through... I mean, we could, but I'm not sure how far it goes. Puzzle: *still standing on the ground level* Might not be much use... Vague: Now is the bright-outgoing-hyper Puzzle NOT taking a chance to go on an adventure~? We've come this far...

Vague: *jumps over to another platform closer to the hole, carefully reaching in with his paws until the whole front half of his body was inside* By the looks of it in goes on for about ten more meters and then splits... Puzzle: *looking up at Poppy curiously* Shall we?

Vague: *inside the tunnel, poking his head out, waiting for his brothers answer* Puzzle: *looking from Poppy to Vague* ...Well then. What're we waiting for? *clambers up until he's on the opposite side as Poppy* Vague: *smiles for the first time (If he has already just pretend it's the first time) and quickly retracts his head, crawling through the rock* Puzzle: You can go first

Vague: *waits for Puzzle to also enter the tunnel before speaking* Which way shall we go? *gesturing to the left and right path with his tail* Puzzle: *sighs, kicking a small pebble away from his paw* Right?

Vague: *chews the inside of his cheek before crawling around the corner, peering ahead into the darkness* The floor... Drops. Puzzle: What? Vague: *crawls back for the others to see* It just drops down into a slope.

Vague: If you want... You can take the lead. Puzzle: *awaits behind them*

Vague: Other way round. (if I'm thinking correctly lmao) Puzzle: Lets go the way we haven't gone yet. (Afk soon >-<)

(sure) Puzzle: I wonder how long for... Vague: Lets see... *glancing back every now and then* Somehow the water continues to run on level ground, hardly any of it was going down the slope... Puzzle: This isn't normal water then. Vague: Either that or it's the place we're in...

Puzzle: *swallows, looking down nervously at the cracks in the stone* Who knows... Vague: *blinking back at his brother* What we do know is that this isn't an ordinary cave system...

(Not real plot, at the moment Puzzle, Poppy and Vague are exploring a tunnel system which they found in a strange cave. They're seeing where it leads to. You might be able to use a humanoid character but keep in mind that the tunnels are pretty small.)

Vague: *evaporates part of his body in black smoke, swerving around Poppy until he was in front of her, back in his normal form* Trick Secret taught me. *continues on quickly* Puzzle: *rolls eye* Wait up, Vague.

Vague: *suddenly stops, seeing some sort of crouched figure ahead of them* ... Look... Puzzle: *at the back of the group* What is it? Vague: Something-- someone crouched ahead.

Vague: *swallows, speaking quietly so as not to scare the figure* Hello? We don't mean any harm, we're just exploring this tunnel system.

Vague: *relaxes, seeing the figure meant no harm* Do you know these tunnels well? Puzzle: *peering around the side of Poppy, trying to catch a glimpse of the new person*

Vague: I'm Vague. Puzzle: Puzzle. *dips head* Nice to meet you.

Vague: *nods politely* Puzzle: *whispering to Poppy* Should we help or keep going?

Puzzle: *nods, half his body turning to dark smoke as he made his way over to the crouched figure* How can we... Help? Vague: *stays back for several more seconds before finally padding over to the two, after Poppy*

Vague: *shakes his head, narrowing his eye in confusion* No, sorry.

Vague: *looking around in interest* Puzzle: Why do you need these crystals?

Puzzle: ... Hmm. Okay then. Vague: *looking over the walls, studying each crack and crevice* Interesting.

Vague: Ah okay. Puzzle: *looking around, straining his eye against the darkness* Can't see any... Vague: *sighs, going further into the system* (Gtg sorry! >-< See you guys later)
