I am sorry, about what your parents had said to you. They are not the parents you would want then. They are overreacting over someone drawing animals? Oh come on, my parents would have supported you and me for drawing the things that you love the most. The people who don't like you or even hate you are douchbags.They are either sexist or mean. The time my dad was a kid, only girls could play pretend, and since Dad's coach saw this, he made him play football. He hated football. And remember, Do what you want as a person in life.
well screw them all. draw the way you want to because you know what dont wait for others approval because there are so many people who love animal art...for example me...one of my oc (i have not drawn yet) is gigi jack rabbit who is very cool looking and hey i dont care if people hate her because i love her the way she was created. the point is as long as your proud of your art no one in the entire universe can tell you to stop drawing things that you like!

Your art is amazing dude. Seriously, don't let the haters bring you down. They are just jealous of you, and you are 100 times better than them. Draw what you are passionate about, don't change it because people don't like it. And with your parents, I'm really sorry to hear that. Just prove them wrong that you aren't a disgrace. You aren't a disgrace, ok? You are a very nice person, and I reckon you are the same in real life. Don't let anybody bring you down.
