A family of 8 are lost in the woods. the middle child a she-cat goes for a midnight walk when she gets lost and runs into a strange cat. the cat then takes her to his clan. They try to look for her family but fails. Then one of her sisters follows a fox to the camp. the sisters enevtually find home. The mom Star gives them to a twoleg because she can not cre for them anymore. They receive their kitty-pet names. Rose and Oak were the ones who met the "wild cats". tiger and Night are the males. Faith and Hope are shy she-cats. when they are 6 moons old they go find the clan cats again and become apprentecies Rosepaw Oakpaw Tigerpaw Nightpaw Faithpaw, and Hopepaw. another 6 moon pass and they get their warrior names. Rosepetal, Oakfrost Tigershadow, Nightshadow Faith heart and Hopheart. later they get their first apprenices. Hopheart gets a stubborn one named Blackpaw. When Hopeheart tells him to collect moss for the elders he says, "NO! I dont have to listen to a KITTYPET!" He then runs off at the bottom of...

a cliff and there is a rock cliff. He gets saves by Hopheart but she gets crushed by rocks and fallen tree branches. (BTW Rosepetal is now Rosestar of Roseclan) Rosestar wants to change Hopeheart's name because of her parralized legs and shHopehearte is fine with that. "In honor of a brave cat much like my sister," Rosestar began, "I will name my sister BRIARheart in honor of briarLIGHT."

Blackpaw feels bad but turns to a life of crime and gets his warrior name of Blackheart because he has a black black heart.
