This doesn't mean to JUST acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God .
Believe and have faith that Christ did die on the cross to pay for YOUR sins. It's up to you to accept that gift from God. Have faith in Christ that, Christ died on the cross and was buried, then rose on the third day.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
We are not saved by good or bad works, but by grace through faith..
