LinkOkay so, your oc had either read from the papers or news about some chick who had up ANF vanished. She went by the name of Olivia Underwood, the woman had been gone for a good few years and eventually people just stopped searching. Steel glanced at the demons, before getting up. He didn’t want her being alone with so many demons eyeing her like this. He walked over, bowing politely. “I presume your date is late, madam?” He simply said, his head set didn’t seem to move at all, tightly on his head. He quickly adjusted the knob on the side of it.
The woman arched a brow and her eyes flickered up to meet his gaze. She slid the cigar out of her mouth with a huff. Can't anyone just get a good smoke around here? She knit her brows up at him and grumbled softly. "What do you want sir-" she sat up, correcting her poor
posture from before.
He sighed, ruffling his hair. “Well, if you don’t mind, I wish to keep you company til your date has arrived. That way no um... savage. Tries to mess you and your smoke.” He gave out a small, nervous chuckle. To be honest, he never really talked much with women before. Besides his own mother and little sister of course. But other than that, he never bothered talking with women, never found one that peaked his interest I suppose.
She stared at him for a few moments and glanced around. She did suppose he had a good point there. The woman let out a gentle Sigh and nodded off, awkwardly scooting over so he had room and she murdered a baby gentle, "alright" as she stared down. It had been a while she actually talked to a seemingly decent man, most just wanted to **** and get it over with.
He smiled, sitting down. “If you wish to strike up a conversation, i’ll Be happy to do so.” He glanced at the demons, making sure they didn’t make any sudden moves. He could fight if he needed to. He always gotten into a couple fights here, his knuckles were a little scarred up because of it. Strange thing though was his ring. It wasn’t a wedding ring. It was a homemade clay one. Made with the brightest colors and had a tiny rock on it. Milky white, with a blue streak in it.
Her eyes had scanned the ring briefly before she signed, taking a drag from her cigar. She mumbled and averted her eyes. "Thank you."
He looked over, chuckling. “No problem, I hate seeing pretty woman being stared at like they are stray dollar on the ground.” He huffed at the thought.
She nodded off and gently adjusted her coat as she sat there, her eyes watched around the club almost anxiously, she frowned gently and sighed, though said nothing.
After a while, he looked over at her. “He’s... not coming, is he?” He sighed.
she shrugged and sighed, playing with her sleeves as she smoked. "Guess not." She sat back with a soft grumble, she let her hair fall into her face, he was probably just getting annoyed with her now.
He sighed, smiling. He chuckled at his idea, before sighing. “Well, if he isn’t coming, do you mind if I stay and be your date, I do not wish to leave you by yourself in here.” He gave her a small grin, looking at her.
Her brows raised for a moment and she scanned his expression slowly for any sign of him just toying with her. When finding none, she gave him a gentle smile and nodded, she carelessly put out her cigar on the table beside her. "That would be lovely."
He smiled, asking a waitress for a drink. Before looking at her. “Do you want anything?” He smiled, even laughing a little.
She shook her head and averted her eyes. "N-no thank you-" She gestured towards her glass.
He nodded, before realizing her stutter. He raised a brow, she was familiar the more he thought about it. “Wait.. are you that lady on the news? She went missing.” His frown turn into a grin, it wasn’t a greedy one, more of it relieved one.
Her expression seemed to falter and she looked away quickly, panic could be seen in her eyes. She- didn't want anyone to know that she was what the petite kind little angel had come to. She hesitated before looking back up at him. "P-please don't tell anyone-" She stared up at him with pleading eyes, she didn't want to end up getting involved with a certain ex of hers that had turned her boys against her.
He smiled, winking. “I won’t tell a soul.” He grinned. He sighed, looking away. “I always hoped you were alright though, his story was too... subtle. To aggressive too.” He huffed, glancing around for any sign of him.
She sighed softly and nodded off, frowning. "Thank you- r-really." She looked down, gently playing with her coat as she quieted down, it was odd. A girl like her, attacking a grown man for nothing? A girl like her, going wild?
He sighed. “Can you tell me what really happen though?” He smiled, crossing his arms. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to, of course.”
She shrugged as she glanced off and she sighed, looking away. "My kids loved him but- h-he was a control freak. Did anything he wanted to me."
He nodded, sighing. “But you didn’t try to stab him?” He was worried. Thinking at any point, that same man would walk through the door.
She looked away and frowned, she felt odd guilt in her chest. "I-It was self defence-"
He sighed, before wincing. His headset was over heating. “I-i’m Really sorry, but um, I just, oh god how do I put this..” He sighed, readjusting the knob on his headset. He couldn’t hear now, and have to revert to sign language.
her head quirked and she glanced up at him curiously. "Huh?" As far as it seemed, she hadn't checked the new to what had happened to her, or that anyone even cared.
He gulped, before he started signing. ‘My headset allows me to hear, sometimes it gets overheated and i would need to turn it off for a amount of time. If anything is happening that I don’t know about, please help me out.” He sighed, he never liked the headset cool down.
She nodded quickly and crossed her legs, her eyes curiously scanned the headset but she said nothing.
He noticed her staring at his headset, before chuckling. ‘It’s not removable, sorry.’ He smiled. Looking around constantly.
she smiled gently and nodded, her hands politely folded in front of her.
He stared at the door, getting a strange feeling. Before shaking his head, pointing at her drink. ‘Do you wish for a refill?’ He smiled.
She cleared his throat gently and averted her eyes, she would hate to be rude. She nodded slowly. "I-If that's alright-"
He smiled, waving down a waitress. Trying to ask for some refills in sign language. The waitress was trying understand, but after a minute she understood and went to get their refills.
she smiled and let out a soft sigh, quite pleased with his polite manner.
He sighed, staring at his ring. Before feeling the pain going away, messing with the knob on the his headset. “Thanks for not... freaking out.”
She nodded slowly and glanced bajc down into her lap. "really no problem.'
