LinkThis is Aspentail, a old oc of StormClan that I made for a side character in a book I never finished. He kinda grew on me as I was making him, and as I was making him, ideas for a backstory for him kept popping in my head, and so bam. He's one of my favorite oc’s I’ve made.
So, here's his back story...sorry it's kinda long
As a kit, -not even a moon old- he lost his mother, Flowermist, in a devastating mudslide. Two other cats died that night. His father, Volestripe was injured -not due to the mudslide- and had to retire to the elder's den at an early age. Due to his mother's death, he was taken in by a queen named Whitefleck, who already had 5 kits. Although, his foster brothers and sisters adored him.
He never knew who his real mother or father was, and they planned to keep it that way.
As he got older, he grew pretty popular within the clan. He was a rather handsome tom, although he wasn't popular for his looks. He was very brave, yet extremely modest and helpful. Most thought he would become

But then tension grew between StormClan and FernClan, and the two clans soon went to battle. He was in the first wave of warriors sent in to defend StormClan, yet no one would know what FernClan was really planning. FernClan had sided with rogues from a nearby barn, and we're taught vicious ways, and they ended up killing for pleasure. Not all warriors of FernClan thought this was right, and ended up siding with StormClan later in the battle, turning the tides and having StormClan win.
In battle, Aspentail fought with a tom named Darkstorm, who greatly injured him. When he could no longer fight because of blood loss, he was thrown into a nearby river to drown. No one ever found his body. He was greeted by his real mother in StarClan.

LinkSOOO wow that was longer than I thought. So, watcha think huuh? Pretty cruel, I know, but it keeps it exciting.
Oh, and, if ya want, I can write a short-story of his death and upload it :)
And the quote says "I would die again in a heartbeat" Aspentail says that to his leader when he meets with him in a dream when he talks about the battle and his *cough cough* disappearance *cough cough*
