Polyphemus rubbed a hand over their scarred over eye. Levi was starting to stir in the hospital bed.

Poly snapped to attention, resuming the smirk they'd been holding for nearly an hour, waiting for Levi to wake up. "Hey roomie, Pomfrey said to watch you, but now that you're awake, we can go back to the common room."

Poly flicked their hand in the air, "Yeah, but not by much, just a few points. If it weren't for the snitch catch, we would've won." Poly jumps off the chair where they were seated and circled the bed, "Now c'mon, dinner's soon and I don't want to be late."

Poly rolled their eyes, honestly they weren't even sure if the shirt they were wearing belonged to them. "Fine, but be quick about it."

Poly was a few steps ahead of Levi, eager to get to dinner. Though you'd never guess they were ever hungry, what with how their clothes hung desperately from their slight frame.

"I'm your number one fan, of course!" Poly squished between Austin and Emilla, immediately starting a conversation with the two of them.

"**** off, Rob." Poly deadpanned, before turning to answer one of Austin's questions. "Nah, I can only give you guys flower crowns if you win, like laurels to olympic champions." Poly winked at Austin as he fake pouted.

Rob squared up to Levi, but Poly was quicker and had a hand already pulling Levi back to his seat. One of Rob's more sensible friends had noticed the commotion and was also beginning to drag him away. "Don't let him rile you up, he couldn't even make the quidditch team."

Poly joined Austin in stuffing bread rolls into their pockets before hurrying after the rest of the Slytherins. Poly's muscles ached despite not having done much today, they were excited to do nothing on Sunday.

"Maybe, maybe if you guys let me decorate you brooms for the next game. THEN you can get flower crowns." They teased.

"I'm just saying, stinging nettle vines on your brooms would provide an huge advantage."

Poly hooked their elbow around Levi's arm an led him to the mixed gender 5th year dorm. Most of the residents were nonbinary, or uncomfortable in the normal dorms, but Levi and a few others had elected to stay here in 1st year.

"Yeah, and they were growing a very curious mold on the back of them." Poly said sincerely, nodding.

"It's actually really good in a lot of healing potions and ointments. Professor Sprout grows a whole bunch of it in the school greenhouses!" Poly flopped down on their bed, which had several large Slytherin themed quilts laid on it, kicking their shoes off.

They snorted before adding, "And it's basically wizard edibles so..."

Poly squinted, before throwing a quilt at Levi and putting out demanding hand.

Almost as soon as Levi drifted off, Em, another one of their dorm-mates came running in, winded, with a large stack of books in her arms. "Breadstick!" She yelled and Poly tossed her a breadstick. She stuffed it into her mouth before dropping her books with a loud thump and diving under the covers, to no doubt study more. Archie was knitting quietly in the corner, silently making some scarf or something. Satisfied that their friends were all in bed, Polyphemus allowed themself to drift into sleep.

Poly slept in for a long time, and when they finally woke up, around 10, they're back ached from sleeping in a weird position. As they dressed (in completely clean clothes this time) they stuffed the bread from the previous night into their mouth, knowing they'd missed breakfast. Em was probably in the study, and Archie in the common room. Levi, probably on the pitch. The raced into the common room anyways.

Poly eagerly took the apple, "Wanna race on the quidditch pitch?"
