LinkYour oc works as a teacher. One of the students in your class, Lucas was always a straight A student. One day, when you returned a test to him with the score B+, he begged you to let him do extra credit to make up for it. You were confused, but didn't have anything for him to be able to do. When he came to school the next day, you were shocked to see him covered in cuts and bruises, obviously sleep deprived and hungry, and on the verge of tears. After class, you decided to talk to him and ask what was going on.
Montgomery: please pardon my language, but what the hell happened?! Are you ok?! Who did this to you?!
Montgomery: thatās bullshit and you know it- do you have money for lunch??? I wanna make sure you eatā¦ and you can rest for the rest of the day. There will be no tests in the coming two weeks.
Montgomery: You didnāt fail. In fact you actually got the highest grade. There was some material on the test we didnāt cover. Iāll just give you the A and Iāll buy you lunch. Come on.
Montgomery:ā¦. Lucas. Take the ****ing grade- and yes you need it. How are you gonna be expected to work hard if you donāt take care of yourselfā¦ youāre all cut up and bruisedā¦.. was it your parents?
Montgomery:ā¦.. I see. Well,.. forget about them for now and go eat. I canāt have my top student not taking care of themselves. If you want, Iāll pay for whatever you need from a restaurant, grocery store, the cafeteria. Wherever you choose to eat.
