you went to a new bar that had recently opened up...... walking inside, it looked cozy..... it was small but it was still fairly sized..... looking around you noticed the bartender.... he had wavy brown hair, pulled back into a small ponytail, he was wearing a white collared shirt with a basic chest harness and black dress pants, nothing really fancy..... when he greeted you, his first customer, he sounded like he was slightly drunk and trying to flirt......

you were in highschool..... definition of "hell" in some minds..... one day while trying to walk to class from your locker you see a boy, practically COVERED in bruises, getting bullied by two kids..... he was curled up in a ball on the floor, crying, while the bigger of the two kids was pushing him around and saying things, kicking the boy from time to time....

you were in a VERY tall building, an were just getting into an elevator, when you noticed a small woman very nervous to enter..... holding it open for her, waiting, she soon walked in slowly, with a slight look of amazement in her yellow eyes..... you started on the 5th floor and went up to the 18th before the elevator, just, stopped working..... when it shut down, it rattled violently before stopping suddenly..... the woman looked a bit angry but quite terrified......

1). You get lynx- they them- elf. They have brownish reddish hair with tips dyed orange of their longish hair. They’re fairly tall and really acts all seriousness by is actually a soft hearted bean.
Lynx sighed softly, rubbing the bridge of their nose, walking in. The looked through the options silently, deciding what to drink

They hummed softly- squinting their eyes at the menu “What do you recommend
"my personal favorite is the martini" he began, "but then again I like anything" he smiled
"hm.... alright!" his teal eyes lit up as he began to get them a martini
it was a small place, didn't have much in it.... but it was calming in a way....
The guy came back over with a martini, "here ya go" he smiled a little and leaned on the counter after setting their drink down for them
“ thank you” they took the glass gingerly, their hand had a single tattoo of a lynx on their wrist cause yes
"yup" he smiled and nodded soon looking at the tattoo "hm.... Nice tattoo"
“Thank you” they said quietly , taking a sip. “It’s good. “ they commented
He nodded "yep, thats just what I do" chuckled softly "also, you're welcome"
He looked around a bit "anyways.... You seem nice..... What's your name?" He fixed his gaze on them
"Carlos..... pleasure to meet'cha, Lynx" he smiled "why'd'ja come here?"
They shrugged. “I just saw a new bar open near home and I decided to check it out. Nothing more. L
"hm..... i like the idea! maybe next time you come in there'll be something like that" he smiled
"yep! just need to get a few more customers to give me money for my work" he chuckled softly
"huh?! you'd do that?!" he smiled a bit and he had a thankful look in his eyes
he smiled happily "thanks!" he looked about ready to hug them over the counter
"hmm...." he turned his head around and looked at everything "it honestly could do with some more furniture...."
"yeah..... but it's really empty" he had a slightly sad expression.... there were only two small couches and a few stools at the counter
“I can bring in some things- I have way too much stuff “ lynx offered
a while later he had a champagne glass, with a cloudy pink drink inside and a pastel blue cloud looking foam atop the drink "here"
"hope you like fruity drinks" he handed them the glass and smiled
it had a hint of passion fruit with peach as a sort of base flavor, the foam was of whipped cream and coconut
"w-wow.... i've only ever given that to my sister...." he smiled sheepishly
"th-thanks!" he smiled, a bit embarrassed "i can make you another if you'd like? or a new surprise drink?"
"alright!" he felt happy knowing that someone OTHER than his twin enjoyed his work, he began to work on another drink

after a while, he had a regular glass with a sunset orange drink, it had an orange and a lemon slice on the edge of the cup
"it's my actual favorite drink of all.... it's quite citrus-y, but it's bearable" he smiled
"really?" he smiled "because my custom drinks were mainly the reasons i got fired from a lot of places...."
"well i'm glad you like'em" he smiled "you're the only other person, who isn't my twin sister, who liked'em..."
“Tsk. You better put some on your menu” they crossed their arms
"you're pretty excited about two drinks you just had" he laughed a bit "but yeah.... i think you're right" he smiled
"hm... i guess you're right.... but most of my income IS from tips..." he looked at the counter "and i might get a lot of tips from these...."
"well... i could ask my sister to come over real quick and help us think" he shrugged "cause i don't know either..."
They nodded- then their phone rang. “Oh! I should take this-“ they smiled
They got up and took their phone, walking over to the corner of the room
he walked around the counter and up to them "you sure....?" he spoke softly
"you don't need to tell me, but..... what was that call about...?"
“I- it was from my boss- it’s… a long story-“ they wiped their eyes
"oh....." he looked at the floor, putting his hands in his pockets
They were miserable. “ my boyfriends going to kill me-“

“He said if I loose my job we’re done,…. He relies on me for financial support “ they sighed
"well.... he's an absolute d^ck then...." he crossed his arms "thats just a sh^tty thing to say to your partner..."
"honestly.... you shouldn't break up with someone just because they can't support YOU financially...."
“I’ll be back-“ they whispered- placing a paper with their number in his hand and hurried out the door
he looked at the paper in his hand and looked back at lynx as they left
“Just get me something strong” they mumbled, slumping against the counter moodily
he sighed and got them something with a pretty high level of alcohol
he handed them the glass..... it was a drink that looked like the ones from earlier that day
it was another citrus one, but instead of orange it was grapefruit
he attended to a couple of other people who had signaled him over
he walked back over eventually "you sure you ok?" he leaned onto the counter, looking at lynx
“Hm?” They peeked up at him, their hair covering most of their face
"i was talking to myself....." he looked at them
the door opened and a woman walked behind the counter and up to carlos
"hey carlos!" she looked at lynx "you must be, uhm, ... what was it..."
"Penelope, the is lynx" he spoke softly "and they're not in the best of moods right now, so please don't bother them"
penelope smiled as she nodded, walking back and forth behind the counter with carlos.... "thats my sister" he smiled softly and looked at her
penelope looked at lynx again "you too" she smiled and nodded once more
she had walked off to the other side of the counter.... "you want more?" carlos asked softly
he nodded "alright..." he stood up properly and looked over at his sister who looked at him then grabbed a bottle
penelope walked over with a whole bottle of a really strong alcoholic drink and handed it to carlos, then walked away
"i've seen worse..... it's alright" he held the bottle up "but... if you really wanna lose yourself to alcohol.... i've got this"
"of course" he nodded, smiling faintly "and don't worry about paying"
he waved his hand "no.... don't" he shook his head as he put his hand down
he smiled a bit "don't even try to bother giving it back.... it's all yours"
carlos and penelope kept serving the customers that were coming in little by little
"only a little.... plus i was about to close up shop for the day..."
he chuckled softly then nodded slightly at penelope, who nodded back telling people to get ready to leave
They struggled to remain upright- their eyes droopy. “ since when we’re there two bars..?
They hummed. “I’m better now that I’m with you,” they said- putting a hand on his chest
he blushed a bit, chuckling nervously "w-well... at least you're feeling better..."
he blushed a little.... he had teal eyes, more on the green side but they were still a lovely teal color
They stared a while - their eyes golden yellow with hints of warm brown.
he blushed a bit "what exactly are... are you doing...?" he held a small smile, whispering softly to lynx
“Can I stay at your place? I don’t want to go home-“ they sighed
They nodded. “Someone broke up with me and kicked me out of the house…” they groaned
he stopped walking and walked over to lynx, holding their hand "c'mon..." he chuckled softly
when the two got to the door, he opened it and walked outside with them
carlos stopped that from being able to happen... he closed the door after the two were completely outside, then locked it
They fell into the car. “Ow- sorry-“ they adjusted themself so they were sitting properly in the seat- mostly
"maybe you drank too much..." he chuckled, speaking quietly, closing the door, making sure that they did't have anything i the way of the door
he got into the drivers seat, buckled up then popped his knuckles and neck.... he sounded like a glow-stick
"what?" he put his hands on the wheel after taking the car out of park and putting it in drive
he began to drive "but, whatever floats your boat" he chuckled a little
he put the car in park after he pulled into his driveway.... he chuckled softly at lynx before tapping their shoulder
"hi" his voice was just above a whisper, he was leaning over in front of lynx
he got out of the car then opened up their side, picking them up out of the seat
he shut the door with his foot, then walked to the front door of his house, chuckling softly
he smiled and kissed their head softly before unlocking the front door
he opened up the door then closed it as soon as he was inside, still carrying them
he chuckled softly "are you going to just fall asleep on my couch?"
"uhm.... if you really want to..." he chuckled softly, a bit flustered
he smiled softly, blushing a bit, then began stroking their hair softly
he walked out of the room with a change of clothes, and into another room
"n-no... you're alright..." he shook his head "if anything... i should be sorry..."
“ I got wasted because I lost my boyfriend my house and my job and i took it out on you
"but i let you... i mean, it's kind of my job to listen... but i still let you" he looked disappointed in himself
"nothing bad...." he hesitated "but we did kiss.... quite a few times at that....." he was slightly embarrassed
"then.... when i asked you about where you were going to sleep.... you said you wanted to sleep in my room..."
he put an apron on then grabbed a pan, eggs and a spatula(i think thats right...spelling is a b^tch)

a little while later, Carlos had a small plate of scrambled eggs for them
he let out a small sigh of relief "thank god-.... i normally only make food for my sister"

Honami blinked for a second to process what had just happened. She was a bit startled by it.
They looked over at the woman and sighed.
"You okay?" Honami smiled to try, and make light of the very... scary situation they managed to get themselves in.
she didn't say anything, she just looked up at the top of the elevator
She nodded and decided to look up as well.

Honami nodded. They attempted to jump to maybe hit the square

Honami stopped, and stared at the woman. They seemed a little confused if they were being honest
she looked at her and pointed to herself, then back to the square
She felt a bit more confused. Honami copied the motion trying to understand it.
she sighed and hopped up onto the side bars on the elevator to reach the square better

(Peridot just came to earth and knows almost nothing about it except he does not want it to be destroyed)
the man looked at them with a slightly confused look, but then responded "uhm.... hello..... what can i get you?"
he had a sight look of shock and nervousness "i-..... ok" he turned around "i'll get'ja that drink"

"woah! you alright?!" he looked at them with a slightly scared expression

"uh... not sure what you said but i'll take you inside...." picked them back up, carrying them inside

he rubbed the back of his neck "sooo.... um.... where'd you.. come from?"
his smile dropped really quickly as he slowly backed out of the ship
