They are a lost species from the lost continent Plecoptera (In an alternate WoF universe I have created, same universe as the MudWing Massacre if you saw my map part for Lauren-Em's M.A.P. "Burn Him Down") that live in the sea from the north, 5 Island Bay, to the south, Fire Islands. They have 3 subspecies, the Crabbies, the average CrabWing (Midseaers[pronounced Mid-see-ers]), and the Clawers (pronounced claw-ers). The typical description of the average CrabWing is usually of a red, orange, or yellow pallet with light, dull, blue wing membrane. Eyes vary in a wide variety of color except orange. They are lighter on the bottom and continue getting richer or darker in color. They have pincher things on the side of their mouths; long antennae; horns with the bottom of the horns being more rougher; a coral-like ridge on their backs that are darker than the rest of their bodies; claw on the end of their tail; usually the right claw is bigger than the left claw, or in general the right leg is thicker and bigger-

than the left; they also have patterns on their back and wings; back patterns are the same color as the ridge, usually lines are in curves or waves; everyone has the same pattern on their wings except if they have a blue tear drop anywhere in the pattern that means they are royal; wing segments also get lighter to darker starting from where the wing attaches to the forelegs; all limbs mostly resemble crab limb segments. Abilities: Able to produce a water-like gel that is mainly used for beds, cushions, and soft plush items, they have a bite-force of 4,500 psi, their long claws help slice tough or soft meats with ease, antennae help communicate on land with the BlueWings and in the water, the claw on their tail has a "bite force" of 2,400 psi, if a section of them is ripped off it is able to regrow better and stronger, highly intelligent, they can also molt their exoskeleton (will explain later), can digest almost anything. Names: Must be sea related. Queen: Portunidae (an actual type of crab)

Zaclyc is the very first CrabWing who came into existence. He is one of the Quarter Guardians (can explain for whoever wants to know) and created the base beliefs that CrabWings believe in. CrabWings love to cut things, from the limestone on the sea floor to the slimey seaweed on top. These guys are put into school by the age of 2, and they learn many things that most 2nd graders are taught. They have an unpredictable nature and they usually will be hostile towards someone or something until they prove themselves as a friend. They are also great cooks, they are really good with cuisine. They love eating anything, even going as far as eating a portion of their exoskeleton when they molt. There are 2 major times when they molt, at the age of 6 and at the age of 10. There is a ceremony for the dragonets who become the age of 6, this celebrates their coming into adulthood. Then they take the exoskeleton and throw it at another CrabWing who they wish to be life-long partners with. At the age of 10, they celebrate-

the end of school for them, they are taught for 8 years because that is what number guardian Zaclyc is. Then they get jobs and work in different places all around the continent. About the different subspecies Crabbies, in the north, are more tempered and quicker than other CrabWings. They are usually a darker set of red, orange, or yellow pallet with dark blue wings with their patterns being a lighter blue. Midsears, near the middle, are your average CrabWing and are not different from the descriptions that I have given for model CrabWings. The Queen and Royal Family are Midsears so that one side will not be favored for another. Clawers, in the south, are more lax and are the most serious about cooking. If I had to sum up about how they feel about cooking food, most of them are like Gordon Ramsay. They have a really pale color pallet with almost white wing membrane. The patterns on them are a very dark blue.

These are free to use, just make sure when you do make OC's of them, credit me for creating the species. I can provide the base in the morning. No NSFW 18+ In general, nasty stuff with them Otherwise, have fun with them, give them jobs (I can provide a list of what most CrabWings work as), houses, and other things. I can say, they are not a big fan of earrings.
