Im not the best at giving tips but ill tell you what I know and how I draw.
1# Base coloring, This is just to get a feel of where the colors are going to be.
2# blending, either take the pencil or the marker and set the transparency to 1.0 and blend the colors.
3# is shading this plays a big factor in adding realism to your drawings.
there are some "tips"if I had a youtube channel I would make a video on how I draw.
