Now that I think about it... this ask begs the question of... "Who would you ship Marie with?" Marie: *smacc* >:| I'm sorry I love ships xD Really want to find out people's answers tho

So for colouring, I use the fill bucket and marker. As for shading and light, I use the roller thing. For shading, it's a sort of dark colour (I used a dark purple for this drawing) and for light, I usually go with a light yellow. Hope that explains it well ^^
