umm wait in case you wanted to hear my head cannon for how the ship would work hh Pg saihara stops kaito from bullying kokichi and umm when that happens kokichi just runs away not wanting saihara to see his messed up face. so basically kokichi wishes he could talk to him but, doesn't because he's too shy. instead he just follows shuichi around and watches him from a distance.

this watching from a distance turned into an obsession of some sort. (don't know how but, it does) so he turns into the stalker instead of shuichi ;) oh on Shuichi's side of this.. he's just a dude that's obsessed with danganronpa and K y o k o. He'll sometimes notice kokichi out of the corner of his eye walking down the hallway semi closely
