And if one of the insiders turned out to be different, they were pushed out, to find their own place. And that’s exactly what happened. An island, in the middle of the ocean, uninhabited, and blooming with potential was discovered. And all the misfits, all the people who were pushed out, made their homes there. This little island began to thrive, the forces of the land blessing some villages. The villages were all different. But, they all lived together. The blessed villages became different species. Humans that were gifted with the ability carry a force that none other humans could start to evolve and grow. They grew physical differences, becoming distinguishable from the other humans that came to the island. The villages that didn’t get blessed by the land became jealous, and a war broke out. Eventually, it got to a point, where the blessed left for another island nearby, and the force of the planet wasn’t happy with the humans and the blessed, and sent a great wave to cover each island...

separating them from the outside world. They could farm and breathe, but, generations passed, and the color of the sky was forgotten, and the outside world forgot about them. But. The two islands didn’t forget about each other. ... Chapter one The waters that covered the sky rippled with the silver light of the moon, casting the land in a dappled light that constantly moved among the ground. Though the night was cool and dark, two people walked down a dirt path lit by dull flickering lights, placed strategically on one side of the buildings so the road would be illuminated in the night. The pair walked close to each other, talking about the events of the day, though the day was hours behind them, and the next one was brewing and ready to emerge from its dark shell any moment. This was the smallest village of humans that remained, and one of the poorest. The floors in most buildings were simply packed dirt, and the soil was brittle and dry.

The salt water of the sea was constantly getting desalinated, a desperate attempt to keep everyone in the town alive that drained most of their funding. Repairs were simply not an option. Most people in the village, in fact, didn’t even carry any currency. The other cities that formed laughed at this village, taunting them and teasing them, constantly asking among themselves, why don’t the citizens of this little town just move into another city and let this one crumble? But, the citizens didn’t mind,for they were stubborn people, and they took a name the people were often called and made it the name of the city. “Nimrod” is what the city was named for, and the people wore that name with pride. Because, yes, it meant foolish, but it also meant skillful hunter, and rebellious. And the people were skilled in survival, and would not fit in a clean prestigious environment. Or so they told themselves. But, they would probably do just fine. But don’t tell them that.
