LinkAll three of you finally arrived home after a long walk from the pet shop, you grab your keys to unlock the front door and open it. You walk in whike Marcus and your new dog are following behind you, Marcus goes to put stuff away but you feel that something is off. It feels like someone has been here while you two were gone, you quickly shake the feeling away and help Marcus out with unpacking everything. The feeling is still lingering in the back of your head but you push the feeling aside like nothing happened. "See Marcus, I told you it would be fun and nothing bad happened!", Marcus set the box down and hugged you. "I did it, I actually did it. Thank you so much for helping me sweetie." He kissed you on the forehead and went back to unpacking the box, you smlied and helped him.

LinkInside the box was a bag of dog food, and water and food bowl, dog toys, a brush, and dog shampoo. You set everything in place while Marcus was filling up the dog's food and water bowl and sat it on the kitchen floor. The dog eyed the bowls and slowly walked over to them, you watched as the dog was struggling to walk over to the bowl, it looked like he was having trouble eating too. Marcus walked over to the dog and sat by him watching him eat, the dog looked up at Marcus and happily licked his face. He chuckled and gave the dog a few scratches behind the ears. You noticed the dirt falling off of his fur and thought to yourself about how this dog was left at the shop for so long, because no one wanted him.

Link"Hey, let's give our friend here a bath! He's been there for so long, I think this guy needs a little refreshing!" Marcus looked at the dog, studying his shaggy and dusty fur, Marcus got up and nodded. You grabbed the shampoo and brush and walked to the bathroom to run nice warm water, you poured the shampoo in and the smell caught your attention. You felt the water and nodded to yourself that it was warm enough for the dog. Marcus and the dog walked in behind you and over to the bathtub. Marcus kneeled down by the bathtub next to you and noticed how the dog slowly lowered his head in fear, you lifted your hand up to him to let him know that it's safe.

LinkHis eyes met with yours and he sniffed your hand with caution, he stepped back and lifted his head a bit looking at both of you. He slowly walked over to the tub and tried getting in, he was struggling a bit so you and Marcus helped him in. He splashed around a bit and you two giggled as the dog tried catching the bubbles that were floating in the air. Marcus noticed that his shirt got a little wet so decided to take it off and put his hair up in a pony tail, you looked over and stared at him, blushing so much. "Uh, are you alright over there?", you snapped out of your trance and nodded quickly. "Y-yeah, everything's fine over here..heh.", you let out a nervous chuckle and rubbed your neck in embarrassment as Marcus laughed.

LinkYou poured some shampoo in each others hands and started vigorously running your hands through the dogs fur, making sure to get every spot. You and Marcus are having fun giving your new friend a bath, the dog seems to be enjoying it to! You get everywhere you can and being careful to not hurt him, finishing up, you rinsed his fur off making sure to get rid all the left over suds and dirt. You stand back and watch the dog aggressively shake his body, getting rid of all the extra water dripping off of him. He hops out of the bath and lands on top of you, knocking you down to the floor. You and Marcus both laugh histerically as the dog starts licking your face, Marcus grabs a towel and wraps around both you and the dog.

LinkMarcus kisses you on the cheek and gives the dog a few pats as well, you dry off the dog and grab the brush sitting next to you and brush the dogs fur gently. His black and tan fur is so shiny now that you've cleaned it, he looks good as new and his fur is even softer now. You run your hands through and feel so at peace, you get up and you all walk into the living room and sit on the couch. "Well that was fun, he looks so handsome now!", you say giving the dog more pets. "Yeah, but he still doesn't have a name yet, any ideas?", you stop and think to yourself until you're eyes widen as you think of the perfect name! "Jasper, that's what well call him!", Marcus freezes up for a bit, but then relaxes his shoulder as you rub his back.

Link"Jasper...as in..", you nodded and hugged him tightly, "Yeah, you're brother...i'll give him another name if you want?". He shook his head and held you close, "Don't, it's perfect for him.", he smiles and rests his chin on your head. You whistled at jasper and patted your lap, motioning jasper sit you two. He happily agrees and runs over to the couch without a struggle, he rests his head in your lap. You yawn and end up falling a sleep, Marcus as well. Today is good day, you didn't even wanna think about that nightmare you had last night. But you knew...something was bound to happen, and soon.
