Elijah: *staring around, trying to make sense of his surroundings with his saturated sight, green leaves seeming neon to his eyes. Eventually sits down near a tree, crossing his legs calmly.*

Elijah: *glancing through the leaves to see a faint form, slightly clearer due to his vision* Hello...? *reaches up hand gently to the cat-like figure*

Elijah: *quickly pulls back hand, blinking slowly* S-sorry... What are you then... *tries to get a better view by leaning his head forward, only causing him to see something shimmering in the grass*

Elijah: *hums* Someone must've dropped it... *glances back up at the leaves, only to have lost sight of the second creature* Damn...

Elijah: *hums* Someone must've dropped it... *glances back up at the leaves, only to see the second creature once again, speaking to him* The... Spirit of a cat?

Elijah: *gently shakes head* No, not mine... Someone's lost it I think... *carefully stands and walks closer to the crown, wincing due to it's bright colours in his eyes* Interesting.

Elijah: *steps slightly back from the figure* Yeah it does. *reaches out his hand to touch it gently, running his finger along the gem*

Elijah: *looks closely at the crack* Hm. *picks up the crown, trying not to damage it in any way, before bringing it closer to his head* *glances nervously at Poppy* Should I?

Elijah: *cocks an eyebrow* Why would it be dangerous? *sets the crown atop his head, removing a strand of hair in the process* *chuckles* Fits nicely.

Elijah: *widens his eyes at Poppy* Thanks for putting that though in my head! *glances at the white smoke emitting from the gem* Actually, you may be right...

Elijah: *blinks nervously*

Eliiah: *removes the crown without hesitation, looking over it several times in his hands, paying special attention to the gem* Strange.

Elijah: *darts eyes from Poppy to the crown* You're a spirit, you deal with things like this, right? *cocks an eyebrow again* Should I put it back on?

Elijah: *picks out the gem after several seconds of struggle, throwing the gem to Poppy before replacing the crown onto his head hesitantly*

Elijah: *waits patiently, constantly looking around to see if anyone else was present, of course, finding no one*

Elijah: What the-- Hey, I- don't know your name but have you seen anything like this before?

Elijah: *sighs while eyeing the mist curiously* Elijah, nice to meet you.

Elijah: *turns to face the third figure, quickly taking off the crown and throwing it to the ground* Who-- Who are you!?

Elijah: *narrows his eyes, looking over the figure* ...Yeah.

Elijah: Huh. *glances at the crown before turning back to Fortune* Your name's Fortune? Do you stand up to your name? (probably phrased that wrong but idc XD)

Elijah: *side eyes Poppy* Misfortune?

Elijah: *taking a step back* I feel like I've gotten myself mixed up in something very complicated.

Elijah: *raises eyebrows* Less than an hour ago I was just a genetically modified teenager going about my day, now I'm looking at a spirit, a demon and a possessive crown. I haven't got mixed up in anything complicated!? Easy for you to say.

Elijah: *The sides of his face had grey and black scales trailing up them, as well as scales of his neck, arms, hands, and legs. His left eye had a third lid and was tinted amber. Also (as mentioned earlier) his sight is more saturated like a snake/lizard. A reptile hybrid.*

Elijah: *avoiding eyecontact* It's... A long story.

Elijah: Yes but I'd rather not speak about how I was modified... I hope you understand. *his swallowed and bit his lip in what seemed like frustration*

(At some point, sure) Elijah: *blinks* So, how did you get trapped in that crown?

Elijah: *nods* But how did you get cursed?? (Have to go for a bit! I'll be back as soon as I can)

(back) Elijah: *closing his eyes in confusion* A queen didn't want her crown-- but you stole it-- Okay. *opens his eyes and sighs* This day keeps making more sense.

Elijah: *whips around to see Mud on a log* HEY WHO-- Wait... You're... Mud, right? One of the kids from The Transition? (That's the name of the hybrid experiment thing)
