This...lair was giving him goosebumps. It’s no wonder though, who wouldn’t have them when you’re in the home of your country’s enemy? Well, at least an enemy something-thousand years ago. H, was still thrown for a loop about how he’d been living that long being a mere human. Was he even...human anymore? You know what- details..details...last time he pondered that for too long he had an emotional collapse, which was— earlier today before his supposedly dead ancient nemesis found him trudging in the rain and luckily, or unluckily taken him back to his place. And now, here he was. Following that rat bastard through the halls of his mansion while soggily staring at the muted gold designs in the carpet, his expression almost as dark as the man’s freshly cleaned maroon carpets after he wet them with every drag of his feet. Not his brightest idea, even for a sixteen year old.

“You know, I expected you to be an unwavering fountain of nonsense about justice.” “Shut up.” The soggy knight muttered, clearly not in any mood for V’s mind games. His eyes didn’t- no, couldn’t lift from the carpet, wide and almost zoned out like in some trance. As much as he had been use to V’s talk by now, his head would’ve been severed by H’s sword if he had it on him. “Or at least...started gawking around at my mansion gushing about-“ “Did you bring me here to be lampooned you- lump of foul deformity?” That sudden heated tone earned an amused chortle from the other but an answer wasn’t to follow after— unfortunately. The walk thereafter was filled with the sort of silence that H had no urge to fill and neither did V despite the questions the two in their own rights must’ve had. Each had to pick their words carefully or the other would shut down the interrogation.

Something, something i don’t care my writers block is hindering progress. I’ll pick this up later perhaps as my electronic is dying and I haven’t the time to think before it shuts off.
