LinkOk, hey there. I wanna talk about a really dumb thing i see all the time with the art community.
Edginess. Now, there is problaly some of you guys/ girls thinking ''WHAT DO U MEAN?!''. Let me break it down.
In the animation community, What is most popular? Mhm. Animation memes. Some animations are a loop, But most animations are edgy.
Edgy memes Include stuff like Turning evil, Scary stuff, Ect.
But some edgy memes include serious topics. Topics include Self-harm, Scuicide, depression, Ect.
It is not ok to do that. Especially if you do not have any of that IRL.
Doing that is kinda mocking people who do that.
Agreed. Like in the sense that when people like animate or draw things depicting these sorts of issues it’s kind of glorifying it in a way. It doesn’t make you cool, it’s not fun, it’s not cute it is a serious issue. I don’t know why people can’t see that-
