LinkOnce again. You live in a world where it's normal to have what people call 'guardians' as in guardian angels. You get said guardian when you turn 18 so they can help with your adult life. Today's your 18th birthday but you wake up to nobody, your guardian isn't there. This upsets you and you go along with your day until maybe around 5 when there was a frantic knock at the door.

The person stopped knocking and just stood waiting for him to hopefully answer the door.
He walked over and opened the door "You're not the pizza delivery guy-"
A boy stood there with a nervous smile, he wore a white sweater and black leggings with plain dress shoes. His most noticeable feature was the halo over his head. "Uhm- yeah- I'm your guardian? I'm so sorry for being late!"

She blinked before laughing. “It’s fine bud.” She smiled and patted his head gently.
“Come in then.” She moved out of the way for him to come in the house.
He looked at her for a moment before glancing away awkwardly "Happy birthday by the way-"
"My name's Tobias-" He puts a hand out to her trying to not feel so nervous.
Kirito: *He jumped up from the couch and ran to the door, opening it.*

Kirito: I'm actually not getting a guardian, apparently. *His house was littered with alarm clocks set to 7 AM. He was clearly excited for it.*
"What makes you think that you weren't gonna get one-" He asked despite already knowing it was probably because of how stupidly late he was.
Kirito: Well for one, I can see the stars right now. I'm preeeetty sure they show up in the morning.
"Well- yes normally...But I was really stupid and had to do all my research on my human companion, you, at once and it took a really long time....So i'm late...I'm so sorry you had to wait this long-"
Kirito: *He sighed.* I suppose I don't have to tell you to come in. *He went back to the couch.*
He frowned and stepped inside shutting the door behind himself. He looked around before going to sit with Kirito.
Kirito: *He looked at him.* So, mister guardian. What are you supposed to do?
He looks at him "I'm supposed to be helpful- just generally try to keep your life on a good path."
"Well uhm- My name's Tobias...There's not a lot to talk or help with when we're just sitting here-"
Kirito: I assume we're gonna have a brother-like relationship? You don't seem like the parent type.
Kirito: Go upstairs- I'll sleep down here. *He let him go and laid back.*
"Oh- Well actually..I'm supposed to keep you in my line o-of sight at all times? Like n-not watching you all the time but I need to stay close- you know?"
"Yeah well- Uh-" He was trying to come up with an excuse, failing and just saying the truth. "Okay well honestly I..I'm scared to sleep up there all by myself.." He mutters staring at the ground.
Kirito: *He picked him up and carried him upstairs.* You're pretty light-
He blushes lightly "Oh- yeah, I'm pretty small and guardian's in general a-are just lighter in general-"
Kirito: Ah. Makes sense. *He walked into the room and laid him down on the bed, sitting beside him.*
"I'm supposed to help you with your problems- not the other way around.." He looks at him.
Kirito: Maybe you just aren't good at your job..? *He covered his mouth.* Was that too blatant...?
Kirito: Nobody is perfect.. *He hugged him.* Some people need to be taken care of or helped.
He hugs back gently and rests his head against Kirito's chest, tearing up a little because he was very over emotional.
Kirito: *He sat up and held Tobias' cheeks so he looked at him.* I'll take care of you. *He smiled in a adorable manner.*

Luke: *he opens the door* what do you want *standing quite tall wearing only jeans with an unmarked bottle in his hand*

"M-mhm..Sorry I'm so nervous- Y-you're just my f-first human companion so t-this is weird."

Luke: depends, either cry, punch the bag over there, or something that will never happen
"You could try- with me?" He didn't really know how else to respond or help with this so he just blurted out the first thing on his mind.
He blushes realizing what he said and hiding his face in his hands.
He blushes more "I g-get all flustered when you call me cute- I can't stop blushing" He nuzzles into him.
