Linkso your oc was an bounty hunter, who had been searching for something worth while. they stumbled into a nearby village nearby a forest. no normal person went in it as they were normally scared of the creatures in the forest. you saw the prices of the creatures in it though, ranging in the thousands just for teeth or scales. you decided to take one for a creature called naga, just asking for a tooth. you went into the forest, and after reaching the marked point of the map you finally saw something of the creature, a tail. wwyd

Baby (Lyric named it baby idk why) was clinging onto its mothers back, Lyric was walking around looking for something small to feed baby when they came across the naga.
Baby jumped off lyrics back and ran to the snake person, making their mother screech fearfully. "Baby come back!!" they ran to catch the little one.
Baby was near them and hissing they didn't have much of a voice yet then their mother protectively grabbed them and hissed at the snake.
Lyric looked down at baby and checked them out, making sure they didn't get hurt. "baby okay? no leave mom."
baby looked at the snake and pointed. "food?" Lyric looked too. "no, to big."
Lyric hissed back taking it as a threat, even opening their mouth a bit.
The took baby off their back and moved them out of the way and hissed again.
Lyric got down, digging their claws into the dirt and before they could jump at them they noticed baby hitting the snake. (but bc they so tiny snakey no feel)
"NO TOUCH BABY" Lyric hissed. baby was just running back at the snake and yelling at it 'no hurt mom'
While they were distracted Lyric jumped at them and bit them as warning.
They moved quickly, grabbing baby and running up into a tree, holding baby close.
(they can bite through tree bark..so..up to you)
Lyric was chastising baby in their own language.
They hopped down off the tree. holding baby closer now that they were on the ground.
gasp idea with that, okay so hunter try kill camo but kitty birb attacks hunter?))
Lyric fed baby the rabbit.
A Hunter saw them and lined up a shot stepping closer and breaking a branch.
They took the shot but missed. another branch broke getting the hunters attention Lyric came the other way and attacked them, cutting into their stomach and spilling guts. baby ran out and jumped around their mother.
Lyric noticed them quickly and stepped in front of baby who was eating the guts.
baby looked up and held up a kidney to the snake. "it okay, mom was scared."
lyric stepped back and sat down to eat then patted the ground next to them looking at the snake.
Baby gave them more food, lyric ate some threw some bone. baby wanted to mimic but their teeth were to soft still so just went up to their mother for the calcium.
(well when all you can eat is soft guts that don't give much you gotta get fed another way)
Lyric held baby closely as they ate, looking around for predators and moving a bit closer to the snake.

Lyric looked at where they had bit them. "hurt?"
"sorry, scared.. first baby." they looked down at the now sleeping infant.
Lyric laid down covering baby, they can't do anything with them asleep, they were vulnerable.
The hunter took the shot, hitting them in the tail, Lyric looked up and handed baby to them. "go, keep baby safe."
Another hunter had found lyric and baby and netted them, making lyric cover baby again and staying still.
the hunter put them in front of themself using Lyric and baby as a shield.
Lyric was chewing on the rope and when it broke ran out and behind camo. the hunter didn't even notice.
