Watch and learn. I watch pro stick fight on YouTube on .25 speed several times in one sitting. Pinterest has freeze frames of fighting poses, i save those but use it in my own way.

I'm always studying how to get better at animation and gesture drawing, that's something that's very helpful

If you draw better on paper, invest in a drawing tablet, big difference

Patience. You'll get frustrated, i did. I slugged on slow but it paid off and still will
