Linka- Your oc happened upon some strange music coming from somewhere in the woods. It was a curious, but rather beautiful sound. So much so, that they stopped and listened to it. Before they realized it, they’d been compelled to start following it. The louder it grew as they neared, the more relaxed they felt. They leaned upon a tree, lookinh back the brush and foliage to see some man prancing as he played some unfamiliar instrument. There was some beast before him, though it was lying on the ground, like them. Wait, when had they even sat down..? They watched his head whip around in surprise when he noticed them, but that was the last thing they saw before they fell into a restful slumber.
Eventually, your oc stirred back to the waking world. Almost immediately, they jolted back from the man leaned worriedly over them. He let out a yelp in surprise, “h-hey hey hey calm down!!”

LinkYour oc was walking along the sidewalk with a hum, excited to go to wherever they were walking to until suddenly something slammed into their side. Before they realized it, the bird that’d knocked right into them was flying away with something in its beak.. your wallet!! The bird dove into the alleyway with the wallet, fumbling to keep it in its beak. Your oc quickly tried to follow to get it back, panicking. By the time they managed to get to the alley there was a large, strange sillouhette standing, a crow on it shoulder, letting out a caw at your oc

Jackie stared at this strange person in fear and confusion. He glanced side to side to see if he were able to flee if anything bad were to happen due to uh, former military training I assume, he then glanced back at the man and gave a reluctant, small wave
the man smiled nervously at the wave and waved back, "Hi! Okay so you're okay-" he seemed to heave a breath of relief, standing back up. Jackie seemed to have woken in the same clearing he'd fallen to sleep in, though now propped against a tree gently. "I-I didn't know there was anyone nearby," he said, trying to explain himself. The man seemed all over the place, now rubbing th eback of his neck as he staggered a step or two back from the waking stranger
He rubbed his forehead holding up his hand "eyeyeh,, slow down lad, now what happened?" He spoke in a very unusual accent, it sounded like a mix of what seems to be Scottish and Russian.
his brows twitched as a look of confusion flashed over his face and seeped away againa s he tried to think of how to explain. He faltered with his words and jsut finally pointed to the giant, sleeping beast no more than 21 feet from him, "I had to put it back to sleep, you must've walked into earshot,,," he said, "Are you okay? hurt?"
He stared for a moment, deciding to simply shrug as this would probably be the only somewhat logical answer he could get "well, Iem fine I think"
"well I'm sure I'm fine, never felt better" he stretched glancing at the beast and seemed uneasy
"Oh yeh uh, I have a tendancy to wander around, got teh keep in shape you know" he smiled a bit
Go ham if you want I don't mind! I usually try to copy the amount of detail the other uses lol
with another cry from the crow, the silhouette seemed to shift unnaturally. two, glowing yellow orbs turned straight to her, eyes with strange black slits forpupils. suddenly, the crow took off again, flying right over her, almost clsoe enough to touch.

Kate ducked down, putting her hands over her head, not wanting the bird to hit her then lifted her head and looked at the brightly shining orbs before her. She stood in shock as the eyes appeared, slowly backing away. In her point of view the eyes seemed like a cat but she couldn't figure out what it was and she was too confused to say anything.
he seemed to skin back out of the light, tilting his head. To answer a question with just another question didn't seem to sit right as he gave a short huff. "Who are you." he decided to get more specific, though his voice was heavy and gruff. It almost sounded like he wasn't a native speaker to english, but his "accent" wasn't recognizable either
She raised a brow and straightened herself. "I'm the one who got their wallet snatched by your weird pet bird. Speaking of can I have it back... my wallet I mean." She held her hand out in front of the man waiting to have her stuff retuned to her, though she didn't have much other than a couple of dollars and her university ID.

the figure stepped back as he neared, yellow eyes boring into zuma as the crow cried out again. It let out a hiss, clicking its beak in warning.

He sweat a bit and and stopped"Give it!you can't just take other people's things!especially their wallets!"

"N-Nothing bad!!" he exclaimed,waving his hands when he was hearing the panic in his voice. "I needed to get it asleep," he pointed to the beast, which was happily snoring low, rumbling

"Uh...alright...."They were thinking about some stuff like why they got lured in if it was meant for the beast,,,,he thought he was some sort of beast now"Was it only for THAT beast?or like beasts in general..why am i here?"

"well.. it affects anyone who hears it.. if you mean the music of course!" he said, shaking his head, "You might've been drawn in tot he spell jsut hearing it, its still just strongest on whoecer it is directed to

"I wont!" he laughed, holding a hand out ot him, "C'mon let get a little further aways from it before it waked up froim the magic too soon," he giggled

he frowned, glancign away like he tried to think of what to do. the crow cawed as it finally flew back onto his shoulder with a coin in its beek, dropping it into the figured hand with a croak

he happily lead him a little ways away, flopping, sitting down now. he quickly grabbed his instruments from his bag untile he grabebd the lyre, unlike the flute from before

he hesitantly shook his head as he sauntered from the shadows, his form slowly changing human. he was stilla vary large man, covered in a strange, leather and patchwork coat. a rough bag was slew ove rhis shoulder, which the bird perched on.
He followed him and continued to stand when he sat"what are you gonna do now?.."

he looked up at him and visibly grew nervous"oh...you're uh...tall...maybe we can j-just go-um-to a regular burger place?.."
"shhh," he smiled, pulling it to position and beginning to play the lyre as he hummed the beginning of a short song. magical glimmers of light seemed to leave the strings after a few moments of the melody

he began to sing, the magic forming into beast, which modelled what the lyrics said

he nodded, thoguh standing back up and cupping two hands over his mouth and letting out a strange call. two other crows immediately flocked back to him and onto his shoulders, one holding a shiny rock in its beak that he huffed softly at. Nonetheless, he turned to follow the smaller male
He kept watching and slightly stepped away from it

He folded and put his wallet back in his pocket,starting to walk to the nearest burger place he knew.he tried not to pay too much attention to the birds
he tilted his head when he stepped away, the music and show stopping, "Whats wrong..?"

he sauntered after him, grunting as he noticed the stares he got. to say the least, he stood out. One of the crows cawed at the majority of them until he nudges its wing to hush it gently
"nothing!I uh..thought it was gonna do something...i don't really uh-like monster looking things?..ik i'm not one to talk but they just make me really nervouse..."

He kept his head down and would pull his hat lower as an attept to not acknoledge the stares

he shimmied his shoulders a little with a mumble. All but the noisy, wallet threiving crow would fly back off of his shoulders. This one, howeverm decided just ot hop in his head derfiantly, making him huff in annoyance
