I do love anime comedies! To me, they're better than the generic action adventure anime with a plot that takes over 50 episodes to finish as well as those generic "girly" animes which every character is a loli.
Yes, those classic Anime are gems that today would not be made in that way anymore.. So, there is only one Ranma and there always will be
There is also good modern Anime of course
But tbh, Ranma 1/2 the manga is even more funnier, believe me, I could not breathe from laughing sometimes

Yes I knew that, she drew and wrote many manga, some of them really dark and for mature audiences (Mermaid Saga)
