Azriel was created From the tears of the Archangel Michael, along with his 49 brothers and sisters, around 11,000 years ago; and he is a genuinely pure soul. He would never harm a person or animal unless it was to protect himself or others, and loves trying to help people. When Gabriel took over Heaven, he banished Azriel and his brother Kastael to different sides of Earth, causing both of them to lose most of their powers and the ability to answer prayers. After several centuries, he met Aranix while trying to find his brother, and the two have been living together ever since, mostly treating each other like brothers.
