1: first i draw the first frame, which is basically the start of the animation. it’s usually completely still so the anim is more smooth. 2: now i draw the hand going down. i dont put much work into this part because you cant really see it. make sure it leads STRAIGHT into the smear frame, extra frames will make it less smooth. 3: This is a smear frame. NEVER draw the object or thing moving frame by frame, because its slow, choppy, and clunky. Smear frames are easy to do, its either a bunch of assorted scribbles or just, well, a smear. 4: Now i draw the object coming out of the smear frame. Basically do what you did for 2 but, y’know, different to match what the object is doing now. 5: This is the last frame and is the same as the first frame, but just the end of the animation.
