You reach over to your night stand, the lamp light burned your eyes, as did every light. You pull the cord, the room washed with darkness. As you could feel yourself drifting off to sleep, with your body aching as if you were alive for 100 years. Your body begging for rest, you were tired. Gental waves crashed in your brain as incoherent thoughts filled your mind, you couldn't make out a single one even if you tried, one after another, they kept coming. Your eyes fluttered open as dawn seeped through your curtains, oh how you hated it. You sit up and stretch, the sleep wasn't worth it. As you get out of bed, you could help but notice everything around you. The curtains hung over your window, the crystal esq lamp near your bed, your solid black nightstand holding your eye. That's it, that's what was off, you gently placed your hand over th gaping hole where your eye should've been, well, you refer to it as your eye.
