Hey guys these are my new OCs Julie the hedgehog and Ben the cat! Julie is a white hedgehog with long hair but she wears a pink headband, not blue lol! Ben is a black cat with purple eyes and he wears a purple scarf :) they have no relation to those other people’s OCs July and Benji it’s just a coincidence :) come on guys white hedgehogs and black cats are not that original! In all seriousness though, I know these people are probably really young, but that doesn’t mean they can get off the hook. They’ll never learn it’s wrong to take other people’s designs if they don’t have consequences now. It seriously sucks to have all your hard work, design consideration, and love poured into a character, and then somebody just rips it off. Even worse when they try to play it off like they’re just a fan of you and paying homage/inspired.

Yes. It hurts when you create a character and it takes years to get them how you want and then have people/children steal your character, make them have a tint of blue, change their name, AND CALL THEM THEIR FOREVER OC. ITS JUST NOT FAIR! All of Baggu’s and my hard work along with April’s, Hazel’s, and so many more people have worked hard to create these amazing characters, and they get stolen by kids. I can name so many knock off July’s it absurd. I know these kids love our characters and want to make one just like ours and be like,” oh I’m so cool, I have my own original OC and he/she is mine forever!”.. NO U CANT DO THAT! At least ask one of the creators to maybe help you make your own ORIGINAL OC. I’m not trying to be mean, it’s just frustrating and it makes you wanna cry knowing someone could take your OC and possibly become more popular using you… 🥺💔
