alright so picture this.

Tallest Red and Tallest Purple got into a heated argument (probably over something stupid) and the Irken empire splits into two nations. the Red nation and the Purple nation, of course. The Purple nation is pretty chill and nonchalant like Purple himself, and The Red nation is tough. Both Nations exhibit political actions such as dehumanizing (or in this case, Deirkenizing) propaganda for the opposing nation. The threat of War rises.

As for Zim...

Zim now feels double-tasked to (hopefully) reunite the Nations AND destroy the Humans. (Or maybe, Have one of the nations colonize earth so the two nations can live peacefully and separated. Red Irk and Purple Irk) while Dib is of course, hot on Zim's trail. he sees this divide as an opportunity to destroy Zim and possibly the entire Irken race.
