Dream is a zombie. His face is literally falling apart, which is why he wears the mask and hoodie and Ranboo is half zombie

It is biological, yes! They never did have a good relationship with eachother and in fact Ranboo remembers none of his childhood with Dream
It wasn't an abusive relationship? But Ranboo was heavily neglected and then abandoned around ten or so
