My dad doesn't accept it either man, he said he'd except me when I came out, but he has nothing but disrespect to me when it comes to my preferred name and pronouns- He doesn't even try, and I'm not even joking, there isn't a single time in my whole life where my dad has called me by my preferred name, or my preferred pronouns, and man, I get you, because it hurts.
