LinkThey both weren't genuine at aLL like this kid in 6th grade asked me out and I said yes and he was okay but I didn't rlly like him so I broke up with him 2 days later and he said "idc I'm into someone else"!!! He ended up assaulting sum kids later so kinda glad I stopped talking to him

LinkSecond one happened in like ?? 8th grade I think and it was an online relationship. I called her a nickname and then she had a crush on me. Uhh she got her friend to ask me out for her and I said yes and bro. She did not put any effort into that at ALL I tried so hard (probably too hard??) And she barely showed any emotion but she LOVED ME when we spoke on the group chat !! If u saw the art u would think we had such a nice relationship but I think she just wanted the attention?? Idk she broke up with me after like one or two weeks

LinkThe reason I'm thinking about this all now is because recently this girl kept crushing on me and I kinda tried to ignore it and then suddenly she dates ny other friend and the day they get together they all of a sudden have matching pfps and statuses and bios that I say "I love you so much" it just seems so fake and im just kinda glad I didn't go out with her because she never really tried engaging in conversation anyway :/ I hope im just being cynical and she's actually great because my other friend is a good person
people around or age are so desparate to be in relationships so they just have crushes on whoever and arent actually into that person, i mean im sure some people arent like that, I had a crush on this one guy for like 4 years so its definitely not all of us but yknow uhhhh i just think a lot of the time its p fake yknow what i mean

I feel like if I was a little bit more outroverted I would be the exact same way because of my desperation sometimes and that kinda scares me yknow

but yeah I get what you mean, just be glad you aren't like that cuz there's not much you can change about a hypothetical. Its good tho that you're recognizing this stuff, just try not to over analyze. sometimes you might look too deep into things and miss out on sumn that would've ended up good for you:thumbsup:
