LinkI don’t think the earth is flat but I don’t think it round either I have a theory that it’s a mix of both bc how else would you explain the tides goring different directions
The tides going in different directions is from wind-

Because of the gravitational pull by both the moon and the sun
And since the earth rotates, the tides vary
tides go in different directions because of the wind and warm water and cold water. Also as icebergs melt it creates currents.
technically youre not wrong, the earth IS shaped a bit more like an oval
the spin causes the equator to sorta slosh out
its basically unnoticeable but it is there, 22 miles i think
