LinkWhat are content farms?
To put it simply: Content farms are what they sound like. Channels on YouTube, milking money from these "simple life hack" videos. Great examples are the giants of content farms that are often talked about: Troom Troom, & 5-Minute Crafts.
Why is this important?
To put it simply: YouTube is a ***** when it comes to videos. It will literally demonetize a small creator just for saying the F bomb once, but monetize videos that may potentially lead children down a rabbit hole. To put it simply, YouTube is monetizing these content farms as long as both parties get money, because that's what they really only care about.
5-Minute Crafts uses the Clickbait formula:
A random number, an adjective, a keyword & a promise. I'll make one up.
"27 Awesome Life Hacks That Will Change You"
With a profile of something not in the video, all in exchange for dopamine & money. If you want to look further into this drama, I HIGHLY recommend you watch How To Cook That's take on the 5-Minute Crafts/S

LinkSo Yummy/Blossom/More content farms, as well as Jarvis Johnson's take on the more controversial side of content farms. In fact, I HIGHLY recommend you watch creators talk about content farm drama. Until next time!
Don't be afraid to spill the tea if it's for the better!
And have a good morning/afternoon/evening/night.
