Okay so on the whole guy who's going around saying "Birds R Reptiles" thing is really stupid this is something a first grader would think, and it's wrong. Birds and reptiles originated from the same place, everything did! However, saying that they are the same is just wrong. Crocodiles r closely related to the birds of today might make a little sense? but even then they would be their great-great-great-great-grandpappys, with many evolutionary feats done by then. Birds evolved from small theropods [think of a T-Rex!] They all have hollow bones, and three-toed limbs, like most birds of today. Lizards however, did not evolve from these dinosaurs, they evolved from the lepidosaurs, and the archosaurs. Which I will say archosaurs did evolve into some birds too. Crocodiles didn't evolve from any dinosaur, they survived the wipe-out! Also with how evolution works, [mostly mating the strong to live, getting rid of other genes] our modern birds are mostly different from the ones in the past.

As I said on their post, it's like comparing a human with a neanderthal. Yes they come from the same place, but they aren't the same species. There were a bunch-a humanlike species actually! We just killed them all, or overbred their genes lol
