LinkYou are a new worker at this science lab thingy for weeks you have just been working on stem cells and plants but finally you get to work on something the team made. you are to teach this thing they made how to talk, walk and pretty much just human.
as you walk into the room, looking up from your clip bored you see this 5'2 demon looking thing curled up in a corner and hissing at you.

OR if you really want, you can be the other parent of the dead kid and this is your first time seeing it. your husband standing there next to you smiling and being pretty proud of himself.

It growled, curling in on itself more. it looked like it was trying to back itself into a corner. it was scared too.

he backed up a little, setting anything he had in his hands on the floor
Tez watched curiously, wanting to see what he'd do next. as long as it was something away from him of course.
he didn't know him so he didn't trust him.
he'd loosen up a bit but stayed in his little corner, eyeing him.
he didn't move, but he spoke softly "h-hey.... it's alright.... i'm safe"
he raised his head, getting a better look at him. slowly, he started to move closer, it was cautious, not daring to move to close.
he kicked a clipboard he set on the floor back, away from himself but away from tez as well
he moved closer, sitting six feet away from him.
it stared quietly. it looked like it was thinking about something. its eyes traveled all around, noting the clothes, facial features, hair colour and more.
it crawled closer, moving three feet and stopping again.
Tez stared for another moment before crawling around him in a circling manor, trying to see everything he could.
his tail swayed side to side softly, his ears flick from time to time
once satisfied he sat down in front of him, this time a foot away.
he tilted his head. he isn't growling anymore.
it sat there for a long moment then stood. it was the only other movement it knew besides crawling. its hands bunny pawed, making it look like it was feeling a bit awkward.
he blinked and mumbled. he didn't know words. he could only make sounds right now.
he looked at him with a smile "it's alright if you can't respond at the moment..... i can find out soon"
he leaned back down, crawling over to it and picking it up then standing the way he did before.
it had his name on it.
though he was mostly pointing at the board itself, it was still kinda helpful.
he held the board smiling "ah.... i must've not seen that...." he chuckled softly
he tilted his head. he looked like he tried to take a step but wasn't sure of himself.
he chuckled softly, not really understanding but enjoying the attempts at making small talk
he tilted his head again and attempted to step once more but that only lead to him going back on the ground and crawling.
he went to his bed and grabbed a little stuffed bear then crawled back with it and set it at his feet then crawled back and grabbed another toy. after a minute he had him surrounded by them.
"woah..." he chuckled a little "you've got a lot.... remind me of my sister"
"alright" he smiled and sat down, being careful of all the stuffed animals
he tilted his head and scooped one of the animals up, moving closer and showed it off.
it was much like a toddler showing off their favorite toy.
he nodded and held it closer then started pointing at things on the bear and talked gibberish at him.
his ears perked up "me?" he pointed to himself "what do you want me to do?" he smiled
he pointed at the animal again and then at him and spoke gibberish.
"you want me to pick it up? or is it like me?" he put his hand behind the animal
"it reminds you of me, doesn't it" he smiled holding it up to himself
"it sorta does" he smiled setting the stuffed animal down to put his blue-ish gray hair in a ponytail
some parts of his hair, all mostly at the ends, were an even darker color than his original color

he tilted his head. his growling had stopped and now he just wanted to inspect him.
he crawled a little closer then stopped and scurried off to his bed and brought him a few stuffed animals.
they made him happy when he was scared, why not this dude?
he laid down with a little yawn. taking his eyes off him and curling up next to the wall.
he looked up at him immediately and did it louder, like he was excited.
he slipped a bit and almost fell on his face then acted like it didn't happen. he trotted back up and mumbled at him again, louder of course so he could hear.
again excitement. the amount of energy this thing has is also much like a toddlers.

Delilah shrank back a little when she heard the hiss, looking over her clip board in surprise. It was honestly fascinating to finally see the subject first hand, though it didn’t take long to realize she was stressing the demon out.
“I-oh! It’s okay!” She said quickly, backing against the door to be as far from him as she could, trying to prove she meant no harm, “I’m not here to hurt you!”

Its hissing became low growls. slowly, it raised its head, trying to get a better look at her.
Tez hadn't seen anyone else other than his father or..at least the one that said was his father. he didn't know who this was and didn't trust her one bit.
Delilah was a woman who wasn’t very tall, probably around 5’3 or so, and was clearly not a very intimidating soul. She slowly sat down, meeting his level as she kept her back against the door.
“I just want to ask you a few questions, okay..? I’ll stay over here if you’d like..?” She offered, her voice a quiet hum
Almost immediately, Tez calmed and crawled a bit closer.
his movements almost perfectly replicating a curious cat. he stopped a few feet away, laying back down. also trying to not be intimidating now that he knows she wont hurt him.
he only mumbled. at the time he couldn't, not really. he looked up and around at his bed, standing on all fours and crawled over to it, grabbing a bear and coming back, setting it next to her then went back and grabbed a another toy. soon, he had her surrounded with them.
