technically, yes. Spore is a species/ evolution simulator game made in 2008. it also has an online portion where players can share their creations with each other. one user started making wolves, and writing stories about them using the galactic adventures expansion which allows players to create missions for space captains in the final stage. then a bunch of other people caught onto this concept and made up their own wolf stories.
