Oh my god XD he's not looking like that when I I draw him

Sighing, he tossed the net into the water, making sure it was secured to the boat.

(Yeah me too) Feeling the struggle in the net, Zach heaved it back up and into the boat.

"What the hell are you?!" Zach yelled, scrambling backward at the sight.

"Y-you can talk?" Carefully, he reach out a hand.

"You're a mermaid." Zach whispered, amazed.

"I though they were myths." Gently, he touched his chest, just to see if he wasn't just a figment of his imagination.

"Sorry!" Blushing slightly, he retracted his hand. "I just wanted to see if you were real."

"I-I didn't mean to offend you," he stammered. "You're just..interesting."

"You're a mermaid in my boat, what else could I mean?" He shifted nervously, attempting to fight off the fact his face was turning red.

"I-I..." He stammered, before staring down at his shoes and speaking rapidly, his face hot. "You can go back if you want to, but my mom talked of mermaids when I was little and now there's one right in front of me and I don't know what to do."

Zach stuttered, twisting his fingers. "Unless you want to come back with me?" He blurted.

"I mean you could always come back to my home?" He smiled nervously, before blushing again and looking down. "Unless you don't want to?"

"That's a no, isn't it?" He twisted his hands together, muttering under his breath and blushing softly. "No one ever does anyway."

Zach perked up immediately. "Really?"

Zach laughed quietly. "I give you my word I'll never hurt you."

Smiling, he gestured for him to swim alongside the boat as he started rowing. "So," he said nervously. "Do you have a name?"

"Mine's Zach." Noticing the tension, he cleared his throat. "Sorry for catching you," he apologized.

"My mom used to talk about your kind all the time." Pausing, he looked at him sideways. "Is it true you lure sailors to their deaths?"

Zach giggled. "I guess there are a lot of stereotypes I need to learn aren't real."

"You ok?" The boat pulled up to the dock, and Zach climbed out, tying it to the pole.

"I'm hoping the myth where if you get out of the water and dry off you turn human is true, it's either that or I carry you." Zach blushed again softly.

"Right." Zach rocked on his heels, rubbing his cheeks and attempting to hide he was blushing.

As he started walking towards his house, he kept glancing sideways and still he turned his head to hide his redness. "Can you talk to fish?" He asked nervously, attempting to make conversation.

"Huh." His face slowly returning to his normal shade, Zach grinned at him. "They tell human myths down there?"

"Nope." Sticking his hands in his pockets, he unlocked his door. "You've got to have some sort of stereotype about us."
