Higbald’s past is shrouded in mystery, clouded from history like the sun in a cloudy winter sky. His palace far to the east, one cast in eternal dark clouds full of lightning and thunder, is known as a house of horrors to all who surround it. Dozens and dozens of howls of rage and screams of pain and terror echo out throughout the mountains and the canyons; all belonging to those who once attempted to storm the palace, and whom never escaped its stone walls. To this day, though the Storm King known as Higbald has yet to ever be seen outside of his torturous castle, he has made his presence known to all the lands. His Greatspears have flown incredible distances to the other kingdoms, his bolts of golden lightning have scorched the ground they touch, and his dark clouds are visible even from far, far to the west.
